Stayed in Wick for a overnight stay on the 8th April and found it to be a depressing place. The only silver lining was The Crown bar. The bar is quite spacious, clean with a pool table. The actual serving bar counter is small with a working space for two people. Didn't have draft Guinness but did have cans which was fine, nice range of whiskies from Blends to Malts, bonus points also awarded as they stocked Black Bottle. There were only two young guys playing pool and a further two local gentlemen at the bar when i went in, very friendly and talkative and ended up having a few more beers and drams with them.
