Fabulous Decor, Service and Food! Went here for our dinner and we were not disappointed! The decor is really unique and inviting - lovely place to sit in - relaxed vibe and fab background music! We were there super early (chef wasnt due in for 30mins) & the waiter took excellent care of us - Making sure we had drinks and even brought us some olives and home made bread (which were amazing btw)! He was super helpful and very attentive the whole eveing! 1st class service! We had the fish and chips (well fries really - even better in my opinion) - which was well cooked (batter was crispy and fish was moist)! We really enjoyed it! For pudding we had crepes and then the most amazing macaroons and a pot of tea! All in all I would definately...

My husband and I just love The Lounge with it's relaxed atmosphere, fabulous food and great service, all for a very reasonable price. The flexible menu with tapas, tempting mains and delicious desserts allows for anything from a light bite to a slap up feast. What a shame the previous reviewer gave only one star due to some crumbs, despite describing the service as excellent and food as absolutely amazing. In my experience on dozens of visits, The Lounge is spotlessly clean, so presume they caught them on a very rare bad day and gave an extremely harsh rating based on only one aspect. My wife and I visited there at 5am on Saturday April 8th. The place was empty so we had a choice of tables.

We took a table by the window but then noticed crumbs and stale food under our table so we moved to a table with comfortable seating further back. Again we found stale food under table and chairs. It appears that the floor and rugs had not been cleaned for some time.

We ordered our meal and the service was excellent and the food was absolutely amazing. Pity about the general cleanliness.
