Really good food at very reasonable prices , staff very attentive and friendly. This place is also dog friendly, the waitress brought a bowl of water for the dog . Have patronised this establishment a good few times and will continue to do so recommend it .

Tried at first to get a table at the nearby Meadow Inn but was refused due to it being too busy. Was directed to this place and was glad to be after a delicious meal in comfortable surroundings.

Went here for a meal here while visiting Crieff with some friends in December 2022.

It's dog friendly, which is great, and the lady serving us did a lot to accommodate our dogs, bringing them bowls of water and biscuits constantly.

The service was okay too but I feel like we got off on the wrong foot with the lady serving us. We'd popped in earlier in the day to book a table for that evening at 7. We were told at the time that there was no need to book but they'd reserve a table for us anyway. Due to various delays (dog wrangling, icey pavements etc) we turned up about 15 minutes late. The lady seemed annoyed that we were late and said that she'd had to bump a different booking request back to 1930 to accommodate us for 1900, sort of suggesting that they can only serve one table at a time? It felt a bit awkward, especially considering they'd originally told us booking wasn't required.

The food was okay, just pretty standard pub food. Steak pie, fish and chips, various burgers. Not a huge selection of vegan or veggie choices, at least not that I noticed. My friend had the fish and chips but didn't really like it so ended up leaving most of it. When the lady came to clear the table she quizzed him on what was wrong with it "because the chef will want to know". He gave a deliberately evasive answer but she kept asking, again making us feel a bit awkward.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, they probably didn't have their A-team in because it was during the holidays and a few days before new year, so our patchy experience probably makes sense, especially considering the huge amounts of other very positive...

My 2 sister-in-laws and I had the pleasure of finding this wee gem of a place today. My sister-in-law has a dog and he was warmly welcomed in with us. The lady who served us was very kind and friendly even going so far as to give us directions to the quickest way home to Glasgow! The lentil soup was delicious and the tea plentiful. This was our first visit to Crieff and we cannot praise The Quaich Bar...

A very warm welcome was given to us from the lovely young lady behind the bar. This makes a world of difference to your experience. She obviously enjoys making customers feel welcome and lovely to see folk enjoying their job.

Great food at reasonable prices, and no compromise on portion size.

To make our visit complete, our little dog Edie was given an equally warm welcome, so we're certain to...
