Super little bakery with lovely owners. Had a long chat with them about their time there (40years) and current economic problems on Skye (lack of staff , costs etc. ). Due to lack of staff they no longer do table service, takeaway only, but there are tables outside you can use and bins for rubbish to clear up afterwards. We had coffee and some pasty/bridie type savouries and a couple of apple turnovers. Took a corn loaf for home (massive handmade crusty loaf, a bargain £2.50 compared to what you would pay in an artisan bakery anywhere else). Highly recommend.

While in Scotland I became pretty much a scone fanatic (as you can’t really find them in my country) and I think it’s safe to say that, after devouring dozens of them, these were the absolute best!! The ladies serving us were very kind and even offered a couple of tips on how to make them at home (something I will most definitely try once back). While on Skye, I don’t see how you can miss out on this place! Oh, and the carrot cake was to die for.

Stopped here about an hour before it closed. There was still a reasonable selection of cakes left - at least if you liked blueberries. Think of Monty Python's spam sketch, but with blueberries instead, and you'll know what I mean. I went for about the only thing that didn't have blueberries in - a piece of chocolate cake. It was pretty stodgy and heavy going. I didn't think that my cultural experience of Skye had been enriched by a visit here.

How can I describe this bakery? Simply tasty with warm hearted owners. Everything they sell is extremely tasty and very good value. We went there every day during our stay in Skye in July but one day they were closed and the other day we arrived too late as they sold out so we only ended up going there twice but absolutely loved everything that we had from this bakery. Make sure to visit as I guarantee that you won’t regret it. We still think about their carrot cake in London and we will miss the bakery even when we go back to Korea in October. Hopefully we visit them again as the owners promised to make us KFC(Korean Fried Chicken!!!). Rather we should send them KFC from Korea for all the good food they made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the isle of Skye map(?). Our daughter was named after Skye and I am sure she will visit Skye later on in her...

Just nipped in to see what was available. The sign says, opens at 10 and closes when they sell out, so I knew I wanted to sample what was on offer if I wasn't too late. Thankfully I wasn't. I had a peach & raspberry sponge slice and my husband had the carrot cake, along with a couple of fresh coffees with oat milk. I arrived about 11.30ish and I could see they had been busy preparing. There was so much to choose from and it all looked so delicious! Fresh bread, rolls, pies, pastries, cakes, scones, sponges and so much more. Both the cake and the sponge were so tasty and so light! And amazing value for money, all came to just over £8. Everyone was so friendly, i could have stayed and chatted forever 😌 We will definitely be back when we venture over this way...

A generous 3; I ordered a sausage bap and a scotch pie on a Wednesday morning in July. The bap was good but not amazing, very soft but nothing to write home about, however the 2 sausages themselves (there was room for 3) were not good quality - Greggs quality to give context, which surprised and disappointed me. I was expecting good quality butchers sausages given the area. I had two bites of the scotch pie, one was to bite into hard crust and the second to taste the filling which was also disappointing and didn’t taste good or seem like good quality either. I would’ve ordered more baked goods but the staff’s demeanour put me off as it wasn’t very welcoming or friendly. Very disappointing and just felt lazy...
