e food wasnā€™t great. I ordered the lasagna, which was clearly reheated in a microwave as it arrived unevenly hot, with a layer of oil at the bottom from the cheese. The meat in it wasnā€™t very nice either, and I actually enjoyed the side salad more than the dish itself. The other meals we ordered ā€” mac and cheese and chicken strips ā€” seemed better, and the others in my group enjoyed them. Service was decent, but the cups were dirty and unpleasant to drink from, and the plates were chipped, which didnā€™t give a good impression. Overall, the experience wasnā€™t terrible, especially as this is more of a bar/pub, but it also wasnā€™t great. They also allow dogs inside.

Then asked for tennents wand was offered some foreign drink then to notice English crisp Carlring was on tap. Food was amazing though hats off to the chef for that great steak and ale pie! If your in inverurie for a meal would recommend. Ignore my childish option for beans over peas that's just my personal preference.

Food was great but service was awfull. Not many covers either.. Drink order taken only 2 brought forgot the others. Ordered cocktails again to another waiter told ice machine broken.. we said okay. But when they arrived it was a juice and vodca in a big glass filled up with ice cubes.. nothing like a cocktail...still cost Ā£8.. Meal arrived not offered any condiments. When we asked was ignored twice we asked again and then got them plonked on the table, then we heard us being described as rude to other customers..... We finished our meal and waited and waited and waited.. We would have liked at least a second drink and the table cleared but it never happened. So we left and went...

Food was amazing, excellent portion sizes, new dishes were being trialled as Specials prior to the menu being updated. Great atmosphere, families and dogs are welcome, and catered for with water bowls for the dogs. High chairs for the little ones. Servers were extremely helpful, efficient and polite. Would highly recommend a visit. Also offers smaller portions for those whose appetite doesn't run to the generous portions of the standard meal size. Bacon Cheeseburger, fries and salad with coleslaw, Scampi, fries and peas were excellent value for money and very tasty. I really wanted to try the Chocolate Orange Cake with Mango Sorbet, I just didn't have any...

Ordered chicken cajun burgerā€¦ what an absolute messā€¦ actual chicken from outside and for the most part was dry excerpt for the actual centre of the burger, the bacon tasted weird and was barely even cooked, when i told the manager this he instead decided to take it upon himself to tell me there was. nothing wrong with it and it was actually really nice, as if i need someone to check that for meā€¦. insisting to tell me how itā€™s cooked, when i donā€™t need someone to validate the fact the burger was badā€¦. insisted to pay Ā£10.. barely touched my meal, i shouldā€™ve paid Ā£5-7 realistically. bad food decent staff decent atmosphere, manager just was invalidating and...
