Electric Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

The food was very nice and the service was very good. However I ordered a burger witch came with chips that I did not order and was charged for when we complained about this as I had not asked for chips with the meal but had enquired as to if chips do come with the burger I was told they came with chips. The manger spoke to my freind and told her to read the menu as it states that chips do not come with the burger my freind felt as though she was told she was blind so i found a menu and read all of it also got a waitress to read it and she could not find it saying that either. no where did it say burgers do not come with chips ill give him this it didnt say they did come with them either however when i actually ordered i did not ask for them. Check you attitude and your prescription for ya glass arse. The manager attitude was awful felt like talking to a child who had to be right. Booked a meal to catch up with friends, 6 adults and 3 young toddlers. It does state online that tables of maximum 8. However didn't think that this would be an issue due use of highchairs around the table. We arrived and we were allocated a table for 6 and a table for 4. Explained that we had booked to be seated together however advised that there was no alternative tables (despite restaurant being quiet when we arrived). We asked if we could join our tables together but we were also advised that there had to be a gap in between for staff to pass through (table was in the middle of the room and plenty of space around us for staff to walk by) We had no option but to sit apart throughout our meal which put a dampener on our night as the company was separated. Excellent night and fantastic food, organised a graduation party for my wife, and from start to finish, the service was exemplary, most of our party went for the steak pie which went down an absolute storm ( including fussy family members) personally I had the curry which was simply perfect, but more importantly for me was the service, I wanted to decorate the table, staff took my decorations and did it for me and made a better job, they also allowed me to bring my own cake, and stored all presents and left over cake for me, the staff serving were attentive and reactive to our requests and in particular the girl Samantha helped and explained everything at every turn. Will defo be back!! In short folks... the grub is great ... but the staff help make...
