Ok burgers. I had the Hawaiian burger but it lacked any kind of zing despite the pineapple salsa. The burger patty was dry. I asked for hot sauce. But they only had sirarcha which wouldn’t work well with it. The rosemary salted fries were really good. But we also got the sweet potato ones which were not seasoned - so not as nice.

Service was meh. Not impolite or rude. But not friendly, especially for a local family run place. Asking about the place seemed to be an imposition on the owner. Asking for salt for the unseasoned fries also led to dismissive remarks. Whatever. There are lots of other places where the food is better and the staff (not just the owners) are friendlier.

If the burgers were better, if they had decent sauces, if the searing was a bit more comfortable, and the owner had less attitude, I’d consider going back.

I now understand why on a Saturday night we could just walk in.

Had an amaaaazing burger and fries here. Had been out the night before and some good food was very much needed. We called and asked if we could collect, the food was ready in 15 minutes and the person we were served by was so sweet and lovely. The chilli cheese burger and rosemary fries were so so good!! Perfect mix of greasy, salty, cheesy but also didn't feel unhealthy. Felt like really good real food, cooked to perfection:) support this...

Delicious burgers - our initial delivery had plain fries, rather than the loaded ones we’d ordered, but F&H were fab & offered us a refund, or to drop over some loaded fries (which is we chose - v happy we did, they were amazing!) ..unfortunately I later realised our halloumi fries had also been missing the salsa & yoghurt, which means 2 out of 4 items were incorrect/incomplete. Will definitely eat here again, but eat in or pick up rather...
