I really want to like this place as it has varied menu, good portions, well cooked food but a lot of work in key areas is needed. Food was really badly seasoned, almost inedible levels of salt, I pointed this out but server was a bit awkward about it. This was for the sauce of chorizo fritto and the batter and the meat of mixed fried fish. Good portions size, well cooked but chronically overseasoned. Nothing could have been tasted either during prep or as dish cooked. Same goes for olives, these served from brine rather than marinaded. Pan serrano is supposed to be manchego cheese on it but was served with a mozzarella based mix with little manchego. Good portion size but prefer smaller if correct cheese used. Toilets are a bit tacky and toilet seat broken. Even a sign up or a heads up they were vandalized/need repair and I would understand. Food didn't get checked back, missed opportunity to order more drinks. Coffee... Charged for 2 single espressos when ordering a double, so 4.80 for a double espresso. If I hadn't of drank it I would've sent it back. Overall poor and I really dislike a leaving a bad review.

Dined here before the Scotland Ukraine game and it is too small inside the only menu we were giving was 3 tapas for £20 which is a little pricey. The photo I have posted was the nicest thing on this menu however to be fair everything else was deep fried and we all ask ourselves as to why there is a health crisis and obesity is a problem in the UK. Maybe because there are so few healthy options on a menu when you go out to eat. Let's face it in Glasgow we love things deep-fried and most things seem to come with cream. Deep fried for the heart attacks and cream for the diabetes. Tried to make friendly chat with the staff and they really didn't want to know felt a little taken for granted. I was in a group of 6 people and we all spent £30 each and over and above that left a big tip but to be honest with you the staff really didn't care. Sorry I forgot to mention that service was very slow.

super nice, quaint, lovely atmosphere, can be a little tight when it's busy but deserves to be busy! food was great but me and my partner both felt sick the day after however we can't put it entirely down to the food so that's why it's 4 star. Sangria was lovely, had fab options but due to being busy the service was a little slow and our table stuck out and was bumped quite a few times...Great restraunt and would visit again with a different table 😊

Fine food, worst service experience of my life, absolutely beyond words. Chaos doesn't cover it.

Saw the recent terrible reviews but were really in the mood for tapas so booked a table for our last night on holiday, prepared for a 1-2 hour wait for food as warned (which we also experienced, it was one hour from ordering to eating, which is obviously not the end of the world but worth noting if planning to dine here).

Staff were friendly in the beginning, we ordered three bottles of wine for seven of us. One hour later, half our food arrived. After another ten minutes, more arrived including two dishes we hadn't ordered, and two we had ordered were missing. We sent back the two we hadn't ordered, but the waitress said we may as well have them which was lovely. Those dishes (goats cheese) were actually nicer than anything else we had, most of which was bang average tapas. Filled a hole, but some dishes quite tasteless (would recommend - goat's cheese, pollo di cante)

After about another 15 minutes, we finally received the two dishes we had ordered. At this point (1.5 hours after ordering) we didn't really want them any more, and they were also quite tasteless.

During the meal, we asked for water three times before it came, and had to ask for the bill twice.

The bill came, and the chaos ensued. One pair ordered a tempranillo wine (£15.95) but had been charged for a rioja (£23.95). It turns out, there were two tempranillos on the menu, and we'd been given the more expensive one (£19.95) (which definitely wasn't the rioja we'd been charged £24 for also, to be clear!).

We explained the wine on the bill wasn't the one we ordered (and we'd pointed clearly to the tempranillo we wanted on the menu when ordering). Despite trying to charge us for a completely different wine and bringing us the wrong one, the waitress said 'well, you drank it so you need to pay it' and that it was our fault because 'when I go to a restaurant, I always check the wine is the right one' - sorry, what?! Really odd to think this is the customer's job and be so adamant over £2.50. In the end, we said fine, we'll pay for the wine we didn't order.

We split the bill between us, with four of us rounding up what we owed by £1 or £2, adding up to a total of £6 tip. The service had been slow, incorrect and we'd argued with the waitress over her mistakes, so not really deserving of any tip, but a few of us were happy to contribute slightly, out of habit more than anything.

After we'd all paid by card, we asked the waitress if she was happy all was accounted for (sometimes tricky to work out who owes what as we were sharing dishes so wanted to check that had all added up to the total amount, and then some as we'd tipped!) She said 'Probably, I can't check' and went back inside the restaurant.

After about five minutes, no-one had come back so we collected our things, and some of the group went to the shop so we waited for them by the restaurant. After another five minutes of waiting nearby, another waitress (or the manager?) came out and said we'd underpaid by £6. We apologised and got a card out to pay, when she said 'forget it. We thought the service had been good, but you've underpaid us and not left a service tip'. We said again, please get the card machine as it's completely our mistake, we must have added up wrong as we'd rounded up to make a tip too, we'll absolutely pay the difference. Three people had their cards out trying to pay this £6, and she was refusing?! She said we were a 'hassle' as we were a table of seven, even though we'd booked ahead so they knew we were coming, and hadn't asked for much, other than the food and drinks we ordered! It was absolutely a hassle I agree, but every single mistake was theirs.

I keep remembering other stupendously chaotic things - prices on the bill were different to the menu?!

Honestly, the whole walk back to our hotel we were in disbelief. Never had an experience like it! Why wouldn't she just let us pay the difference?! Definitely not worth the hassle for the 4/10...

I've been here recently on a Sunday night, with two friends; one of them had already been at the restaurant once and although she warned us that she had waited a long time for her food, she wanted us to try it. The place looked quite cozy, however a bit crammed as stated in some other reviews. When I went to the toilet, at the back of the room, it all seemed pretty dark and it took me a minute to figure out where the toilet door was, since it's all painted in black. We arrived and sat at around 8:00 pm and ordered within fifteen minutes; altogether we ordered about ten small dishes and at least half of them were quite basic, like fried potatoes or bread spread with some special sauce. The first dish came after thirty or forty minutes and the last arrived about an hour and half since we ordered, which basically made us leave hungrier than we were in the beginning. We had to send back one dish because it was prepared in a different way than we had ordered, and also two bowls of potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly. I ordered freshly made hummus, which came with two small strips of pitta bread and it honestly felt less than acceptable. Overall, one sauce that was supposed to accompany the bread, never came, another dish never came and we eventually asked to cancel it from the order, three dishes were sent back and all the food took way too much time to arrive. When we got the bill, they had included the dish we never got and another one had been swapped with something else. My final thoughts are that the service is insanely slow, the food is average and portions are quite small, which make seem the whole experience overpriced and disappointing. Despite the fairly professional attitude of the staff, which was the only positive note, I've definitely had a negative experience here. I won't be going back to Tinto and I wouldn't...

Went here for Hogmanay dinner. Without a doubt one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. It’s was chaotic and disorganised. Struggled to get into my seat it was that close to the table behind. There were 4 of us and was also a struggle to get all our plates on the table. Staff were running about like rabbits in headlights but not achieving very much. It was a sat night and ny so it was going to be busy but there seemed to be enough staff for the amount of tables. We weren't offered a menu for desserts and had to continually ask them to take our order which was 2 desserts and 2 cocktails. I’m still waiting for the cocktails despite asking them 3 times. The desserts never came and order had to go through again. One finally arrived. They forgot the other again. We gave up on the cocktails although they had put one on the bill. 3 times we had to ask for the bill. Then no one came to actually let us pay it so we headed to the door knowing that would get their attention. No apology was ever offered. If anyone still wants to socially distance you can forget it. In the ladies someone had to squeeze by me while I was washing my hands to get into the one toilet. The staff lack any attention to the needs of the customer. Walk by the table constantly but pretty much ignored us. There was zero leadership or organisation. 1 waitress was pretty defensive when I had to ask what was happening with the desserts and cocktails. There was a lack of professionalism with staff shouting and pointing down the restaurant at each other. Looking totally frazzled. I’m fairly new to tapas so couldn’t say if it was value for money but tasted nice enough. It was a stressful and unenjoyable experience and I couldn’t wait to get out the place. Definitely...
