Gather Kitchen Deli — Restaurant in Scotland

Visited for breakfast with my husband and a friend in between Christmas and New year ,we were staying in Carnoustie . the place we usually go was closed . What a find ..breakfast food was lovely , freshly cooked, good menu choices .I had the poached egg avocado and bacon on sourdough bread , it was delicious, my husbands bacon roll had 7 rashers on it .he said its the best bacon roll he's had anywhere . So good we went back for breakfast the following day before we returned home .the lunch menu looks good too .We will def be back next time we visit .one small criticism they could do with some better ventilation as the windows were all steamed up , it was very cold when...

What a gem of a place. They sell cheeses, gin, fruit and veg, soup packs amongst many other things. Packaging free may I add! :) Food is very nice. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options available including tea and coffees. Fresh water given on arrival free of charge. Staff very helpful, approachable and friendly. I've visited this place many times and is one of my favourite places for coffee/lunch in Carnoustie. Laptop friendly with sockets available. They also have a Facebook page with regular updates....
