Made a reservation for Saturday evening. We ordered Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, Green Curry (Pork), Hot and Sour (Tom Yum, Prawn), and a Stir Fry with Oyster Sauce (Chicken). Ordered additional white rice and fried rice. Personally enjoyed the spring rolls and the aroma of the green curry the most. My peers (some asians with Thai ancestry) thought that the Tom Yum could have more sour to it, and the Pad Thai less sweet. Sadly, both the fried rice and Pad thai had also lacked that touch of "wok hei" characteristic of many asian foods. It's a small restaurant so would recommend making a reservation. We would certainly be very delighted if Thai milk tea were added to the menu! Otherwise, the food was overall tasty and delightful. The staff/manager/boss were friendly and incredibly helpful. Would recommend this place and would return in the near future!

Hidden Gem!! Me and my partner first visited the Thai Kitchen about three years ago, we immediately fell in love with the gorgeous food and delightful atmosphere that Tay offers. Over the years we have visited our favourite restaurant many times with friends and family and have always had a fantastic experience. Whenever we have dined with people with different dietary requirements, Tay has always ensured each meal is tailored to their individual needs. To start, the chicken satays are accommodated by a beautiful peanut sauce. My two favourite main meals are the chicken pineapple curry or the roast duck curry which are both to die for alongside some delicious noodles. Tay has created a warm and welcoming environment throughout her restaurant and her traditional heartfelt Thai meals are a must try!

I’ve lived in Carnoustie for 6 years but only just got around to trying this place! Ordered over the phone for collection. It took around 50 minutes for it to be made which is longer than I would expect, however they did sign post that to me and it’s a good indicator that the food is cooked fresh to order and given care and attention. The food itself was beautiful, I’ve not tried much Thai food so not a huge amount to compare to but I really enjoyed it. Only thing that wasn’t to my taste was the Thai fish cake in the mixed starter but everything else was superb.

Our first visit to Thai Kitchen as a couple. It was a Thursday evening so not busy. The menu is comprehensive and offers choice. All main courses were fairly priced although I thought £5 for a side of rice was a little steep. That said, the wait was worth it as our main courses were freshly prepared and piping hot. The flavours were without doubt Thai - I had the Penang chicken curry and my wife had a stirfry. On finishing our meal the chef/owner enquired if we had enjoyed our meal etc etc etc which was a nice touch. If back in Carnoustie we will without doubt return - well done all at Thai Kitchen, servers, owner/chef A+

*it would be nice to perhaps hear some authentic Thai music or similar when dining rather than listening to chatter from other tables. This would add to the ambience...
