Greggs — Restaurant in Scotland

I asked for my sandwich to be toasted and was misheard. Worker walked off. I asked the other woman working there if she could toast it and scoffed at me “saying it’s far more dear to get it toasted” and that I should have asked the first time (I did).

I offered to pay whatever extra was needed and she angrily explained that she couldn’t put it through the till, to the point that I even offered to pay for an item and not take it to compensate. She said she couldn’t allow that and continued to put the blame on me.

I offered to pay multiple times and was refused to be allowed to do so, yet was told to “remember for the next time” even though I did nothing wrong in the first instance. I even paid the optional £1 extra to charity in my initial order!
