Greggs — Restaurant in Scotland

Nice friendly welcome at the drive-thru station. Off to a good start :-)

Was looking for a vegan sausage roll and a normal sausage roll but they only had vegan ones left. Opted for 2 vegan sausage rolls.

I mistakenly assumed that a main selling point of a drive thru was that the food would be hot. Both were stone cold. I asked if they could be heated but they said they couldn't for 'health and safety reasons'.

Can't fault the staff at all, they were friendly and courteous. But honestly, what's the point if you can't be certain you're getting a decent product? Are you meant to just take your chances and hope...

My mum and I have become regulars here since they opened. We have always found staff like Mark, Margaret and William to be friendly and helpful. The whole team work their socks off, especially if you've happened to pop in on a Saturday afternoon when its mobbed. We started going there because they offered alternative milk. I'm disappointed that Greggs Head Office has stopped that option now. My only criticism is that occasionally the music is just a little loud. Appalled that this is a newly opened shop as it’s lacking attention. The staff are hopeless, not a smile from any of them, the food was cold, no clean tables, crumbs everywhere, bins over flowing and the staff just standing around talking. The music was unbearably loud that you couldn’t even have a conversation. A certain gentleman worker outside smoking didn’t wash his hands and went back to serving straight away not after stretching his head and shaking his hair about all over the fresh food.
