KFC Kirkcaldy - Central Retail Park — Restaurant in Scotland

I went to my local Kfc in kirkcaldy on 6th of August as my hubby wanted to go for his birthday tea. I got there and placed my order which came to 27 pounds n odd pence. I was told to wait at the side and stood there for about 15 minutes. While I was standing 4 guys came into the shop and placed their order also . . Five minutes later the guys were told their order wouldn't be ready for at least 25 mins . I was called over and told mine's would be another 15 to 20 minutes and did I want to wait or get a refund and as I had already stood there I said I would wait . During this time the cars in the drive through were coming and going like hot flies and being served .. I asked the young guy why this was and we were still waiting and was told that they were waiting on chicken on the bone cooking for my order and the cars were all ordering different from me . So I watched n saw chicken on the bone being served into a box from the other side of the serving area n the guy saw me watching what they were doing n I was served about 5 mins later so all in all was standing like a numpty for half hour and when I left the guys that were waiting still hadn't been served with their food . There was only me and the four guys in the place and we were not happy that cars were coming and going and being served before us . I watched and there was cooked chicken on the bone but was going out the window to cars instead so I won't be going back in a hurry . Whoever was cooking that night didn't cook properly as the batter was bot crisp how it should be and was soggy . My food was in buckets as requested but when I got home I was very lucky as the bottom of the brown carrier bag fell out and the bottom of the buckets were out too and my chicken fell onto my dining table , just lucky it wasn't the floor . KFC Kirkcaldy - Ordered a bargain bucket with 10 pieces. Advised at payment window contact less was not working only accepting chip & pin, no problem. Moved onto final window expecting to receive order. Car park quiet and inside restaurant not busy. I was told they are cooking the chicken and they will bring my order out to me once ready found it surprising as when I parked up numerous cars were ordering receiving their orders and driving off. I had to wait 25 mins for mine there was another man waiting after me so we got our orders at the same time. Watched the man get his and did hope the order was not mixed up as mine looked smaller than usual. When I was handed the order it did feel lighter than normal. Drove off and thought to check good job stopped a newliston and opened the bag to find gut feeling was right, the bucket was half the size in it was 6 drumsticks 2 wings 2 small thighs all for £17.99 I was ragging!! Went back to KFC went straight into the restaurant and questioned it. Was told they had run out of White Meat! Why had they not said this at the time of placing the order so a informed decision could be made just like their Contactless not working. Also asked why various orders were made before mine, told not all orders are for meat on the bone. So they do have white meat!!@@!!!Asked the manager could he not see a problem here customers paying full price for cheaper cuts of chicken. Got my money back in full in cash. That was also weird normally it would be credited back to the debit card used to purchase the order. Been going to KFC at the retail park allot recently due to a pregnant other half and have to say it's probably one of the worst fast food places I've ever been to and if there was another nearer option with similar food we would go there. Every single time we go through the drive through they make several errors with the food. Smalls given when large meals paid for, forgetting items completely, giving the wrong juice, giving the wrong change and on top of this the once friendly staff seem to have been replaced with uninterested and slightly insulting staff. There are a few good ones don't get me wrong but to be sighed at repeatedly when your trying to order is a little annoying to say the least. And then we thaught mabye if we sat in it would be a better experience. While the food was more accurate and to what we ordered sitting in this is far outweighed by the general cleanliness of the establishment. Bins often overflowing with previous meals with half eaten chicken on the floor, tables often left dirty, high chairs thick with grease and previous meals and I don't think they own a mop and a bucket. As I rule I don't really write too negative reviews as if I don't like somewhere for minor reasons I just won't rate it but this KFC is honestly one of the worst I've been to and if I was the franchise owner I would be having a serious look at what's...
