Avoid! Until management training has improved. Especially if purchasing for children.
Sadly, opening up the reviews to warn people about this KFC I have seen its rating is very poor and I would have saved my wee nephews great disappointment had I taken them else where this evening. The response I got was so unprofessional I was actually in shock. According to the manager working the evening shift of Tues, 6th Sept 2022, the happy meal is just a bit of cardboard so they didn't need to have told me that they were out of stock AND in fact don't bother with preparing the order as advertised on game nights.😳 This is what I'm to tell a bright eyed 4 year old who is chosing a treat cause he is such a good boy. The Party bucket would suit me better and be cheaper but most people know the joy of a child getting their very own meal with an exciting presentation. Imagine the disappointment after him thanking me all the way home only to find it was not in the bag! And yes, I specifically checked and was assured the full order was in the bag. This is bad enough but what really upset me is when the 7 yr old nephew, who carefully chose what he would like, didn't even have his order in the bag! Yip! He had to suffice with my order. If this manager had any customer service training she would have been kindly and sympathetic as I relayed the disappointment. I only JUST managed to get a refund for the missing burger but her attitude was awful saying I didn't bring any of it back so she couldnt do anything. To stop the boys from eating when so hungry after sports club would have been inhumane. Especially on a Celtic game night. The whole point of fast food was to get them treat dinner quickly and home before the traffic got bad. Another thing, spent 1/3 more and we were all unsatisfied. Portions were meager. I usually spend less and there is plenty left for the next day. My brother said they often make mistakes but they are good about making it up to you. Well, sadly it has got to the stage I need to write KFC directly. I don't want my family to deal with this anymore but it would be a shame to not avail of this branch. I recommend others to complain to the Head Office too as these bad reviews dont seem to be changing anything. The manager, who refused to give me her name, certainly didn't care if I told my...
Read moreI placed an order and waiting for delivery initially. About 30 minutes had passed and no driver was assigned, so I contacted Just Eat to see if I could pick up my order as it had been confirmed by KFC. They ok'd this so I drove up to KFC to collect. When I explained to the staff member what had happened, they checked and didn't let me know what was happening. After waiting 10 - 15 minutes more, the supervisor then asked me what I was waiting for. So I explained again what had happened and then she checked the machine and found my order. So they proceeded to finally start making my order. As they were getting it ready, the supervisor explained they didn't have enough fillet pieces for my Boneless Banquet, and asked me if it was okay if they put in some Original Recipe chicken. I didn't want to be rude so I accepted the offer, but in truth, it isn't what I ordered and not what I wanted as I'm not a huge fan of the original recipe chicken. Both staff members had apologised for the mistake which I can appreciate, however when I got home with the food, I got a couple of bites out of the 2 fillets they did give me, which didn't have much chicken, and I tried the Original Recipe chicken they had given to us extra, but it wasn't great and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. It was a nice offer, however, the chicken simply wasn't good. So all in all not happy with the order. Paid £20 for 2 meals, and I barely got anything to eat and had to wait over an hour for...
Read moreEven with two cash registers, two card readers, and a large notice stating 'We take cash', I was barked at by a member of staff (with her mouth full btw) wandering out from the back "WE DON'T SERVE PEOPLE ANYMORE!" Didn’t seem to matter that I had my children with me, one disabled.
The same woman then took it upon herself to attempt chastising my boys whereupon I had to tell her, "Don't you dare speak to my boys like that!"
There were other, much younger members of staff scattered around the place, chilling out, eating, and slagging the people who had just been interviewed for a position in the establishment, I'm guessing.
No deserts, soggy fries, overly cooked chicken, and a Zinger tower burger that looked like Stevie Wonder made it.
A treat for my sons turned into a nightmare visit, and somewhere, I will be telling anyone who...
