Don't order a pickup, it's a waste of time.
Food is ok (you know what you're getting with Subway) although could have given a little bit more veg (especially on my veggie sub) and a bit less marinara sauce on the other (ended up leaking everywhere).
Placed two pick-up orders recently for specific times through the Subway app. First one a mid-week evening with no customers in the store. Arrived and had to wait on my sandwich to be made (Philly cheese steak, had disappointingly few peppers) taking a bit longer than usual. Whatever, new starts need time to practice, fine.
For the second order, I went to the pickup point to collect (a few minutes later than my collection time). A very busy lunchtime. Took a while before spoken to - whatever, it happens, busy lunchtime. Order not ready - well that's annoying, but I'll let it slip.
What's not ok is then saying it will be a few moments and continuing to serve walk-in customers. Had I joined the queue and told them about my order I'd of been in and out in 5-7 minutes with the rate they were serving. I placed an order to avoid any queues. I ended up waiting 17 minutes for my sandwich! Even delivery drivers who arrived after me were being served and on their way before me! Seems the prioritisation is: delivery drivers walk-in customers collection orders.
I could have taken one of the staff back to my house to make the sandwich, and given them a lift back home before I'd of been passed my sandwich (I live seven minutes away). I could have even placed an order for delivery to a unit next door and received my order quicker. I probably could have even joined the queue to place a completely separate order, two times over, and receive those orders sooner than my allocated time-slot collection.
The whole idea of ordering for pickup (according to the app) is to "order ahead & jump the queue". Yes, I literally skipped everyone in the queue, in practice around ten people were served and on their merry way before I received my order, all because my sandwich WASN'T READY FOR THE PICKUP TIME! Such a poor system.
Your apologies fall on deaf ears when you can't uphold your end of the transaction and then neglect customer service with poor work prioritisation. No compensation, freebie cookie or good will gesture even offered (dare I asked I'd have probably waited a further eternity). Won't be back to...

Went today for my lunch ordered a chicken tikka, the guy behind me also ordered a chicken tikka on a different bread and even though I was served first they pulled his out the oven first and asked me what salad I wanted to I just said the salad I wanted then they pulled his out and the guy noticed it wasn’t the right bread but they wouldn’t remake them and wouldn’t fix the mistake they made so we both ended up still having to pay full price but I got what he ordered and he got what I ordered. The workers were not talking to each other to figure out who’s was who, they were also not changing their gloves and had their hair exposed. It was like there was 0 training given they just found people off the street and chucked them behind the counter. And to top it all off I got home and noticed the crisps I picked up were out of date 🙃
Honestly if you want a subway just go to the one in the town centre at least the workers might actually know what...

Ordered online for collection via the subway app and still have to wait for everyone else to be served despite the app saying the order was ready for collection, then the staff ignored our order, served the next 6 other people that walked in after us, that all had multiple orders and left ours till last, then told us the bread we'd asked for was out of stock, after giving everyone else the bread despite our order sitting there for over 25 mins. It took 30 /35 mins longer than it would have if we had just walked in and placed the order without using the app. Horrendous service. Not even any apologies for making us wait either.
When you do get served, orders are consistently wrong, despite asking for no cheese, it's put on multiple occasions, when contesting it, staff look at you like it's your fault. Id Avoid at all times, especially if you have dietary restrictions or allergies as they wont bother...
