La Piccola Pizzeria — Restaurant in Scotland

Had 3 take outs from La Piccola now…on their opening night, 3 nights later and then again the following week (bad I know) but couldn’t help ourselves. The pizzas are delicious and the sides in which we had have all been great, as well as generously portioned. Staff are all friendly and attentive, first night was a little manic for them, although expected after the anticipation of them opening! First & foremost pizzas are absolutely first class. Ordered for collection, arrived on time to collect and waited an hour in the shop before they were ready… in addition no music, no atmosphere nothing, just deadly silence . Just the clanking of the kitchen . For the love of god guys play some tunes for your waiting clientele to break the deadly silence. You decor is lovely - play some tunes to match, and my 60 min wait might not have been...

Really good Pizza, freshly made. Their dough is perfect and passata really good. I had the milano 12 inch and it was perfectly cooked. Would definitely visit again. Their Facebook page doesn't seem to reflect their opening hours so don't be fooled if it says closed....
