Leeburn Table Table — Restaurant in Scotland

Worst dining experience my partner and I have ever had to endure!!! Firstly,the carpet that our table was on was covered in discarded food,the chair my partner had been sitting on had an unknown green substance on the front lip of it which transferred its self on to her clothes and when she had pointed this out to the member of staff they replied with "are you ok" we then had our food brought to us and we asked for sauce,five minutes had passed and we saw the same member of staff dealing with someone else at another table so asked another worker for sauce and had to wait at least another 3 minutes before she came back and told us she got held up at the bar which was total lies as my partner had saw her taking an order from another table across the restaurant..so the food was cold by the time we got our sauce. Then we decided to take pictures of the manky floor as we had every intention of complaining to the head office about how rubbish a service we were given,and just when we thought it couldn't get any worse,a worker proceeded to brush the carpet that had the food on it,not even two ft away from we were eating our cold food,so enough was enough,I felt sick thinking about the dust particles that were flying around us as we ate and its fair to say we never finished our meals. So as a whole the place is a total dive with arrogant staff as well as being over priced and the portions certainly don't reflect the hefty price tag,I was shocked to see on the bill that I was charged £3 for a dash of coke that went into a double vodka and not even half of that for a full glass of lemonade,it doesn't make sense so I think I was overcharged on that one. AVOID...

I went here while in getting my car for a service.

I was greeted by a friendly member of staff at the door while waiting to be seated. They took me to my table and explained how the ordering worked. The same staff member appeared to be the only person running around the area I was sat in but in their defence it was pretty early and there were only two tables with people in the area I was in. She was friendly throughout my visit, even up until I left.

I was placed inside in a pretty nice seat in a sunny part inside on a lovely day so had a nice view out the window, which I appreciated.

I ordered a breakfast which was well made except from the bacon which I assume had been sitting for a while as it was hard to put my fork in.

I also had some yogurt and fruit which I assumed would be served in a bowl but it was not, I was given a pot of yogurt, a plate of fruit and a banana. I didn't specifically ask for a bowl to be fair.

The coffee provided was made with a Costa machine according to the girl who took my order. They didn't serve flat whites but they had the usual suspects available and the coffee was very nice.

Both the food and drink was "bottomless" which I made good use of throughout the day as I waited.

There was wifi which was very useful for me while I was out in the sun and working later...

Attended here 6pm on a busy Saturday night with no booking.....we were greeted by lovely assistant who although really busy found us a seat. The menu is varied normal good standard pub grub I had chilli baked potatoes accompanied by a very fresh salad and coleslaw all really good. The waiter was polite friendly and went out his way to get answers to some if our queries on the menu. We then ordered 2 lattes with a Baileys which they tried their best to source but had run out...this happens sometimes so not a big issue but the young water was so apologetic about it I felt sorry for him! The food is good and reasonably priced but what will take us back there is the staff as the young waiter (tall slim lad with black hair sorry didn't get your name) couldn't do enough to make us enjoy our visit. Obviously training is important of staff but it comes down to the individual to treat customers correctly and this place recruits the best.
