I don't know what the atmosphere is, food is ok but it's very poor customer service, people are disorganised and disinformed they don't know what they doing it can be awful experience... I can understand when it's extremely busy but not when it's very much empty... Instead of taking me to the bar area where I could pay for my takeaway pack I heard just go over there they will sort you out. I went to the deck and yes question do you have a ticket? I had to go back to the bar to pay, then I was asked which size takeaway portion I want standard or large. I said large. Got a ticket for stardard when I realized that and confirmed that my choice was different I heard that there is only one size. Ok it doesn't make any sense to ask me what size I would like. Staff need some additional training as they create unnecessary confusion and why walking off to the bar area instead of finishing dealing with customer as there was no one else that she was dealing with? It's just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Lady went behind the bar anyway but expected someone else to deal with it? Seriously? Today 01/10 I did give it another go. I went inside and I decided I'm gonna sit in and have a meal I waited for somebody to show me where I can sit and I did inform that I want to get some food from the deck. It didn't make any sense to sit just by the entrance to go all the way to the deck, there was plenty of spaces closer which I did point out and the table has been changed. Then as I was sitting in I did expect to pay after I finish the meal but no, had to go back to the bar to pay for it in advance, okay again I wanted food from the deck and again I have been asked for the size: small standard or large? I said apparently there is only one size? No there are three different sizes 🤦 Then I was asked if I will have Yorkshire aswell to my surprise so I said ues but I would think that's included? Yes it is. So what's the point asking me if I want Yorkshire when it's not on the ticket anyway you will be asked the same question when you gonna pick your food later🤦I got the ticket for the large this time and I went to the deck to my surprise there was no chicken there was no Turkey and no one mentioned that earlier whatsoever which would saved me all the hustle if I would know from the start. Since I cannot eat any other meat I decided to cancel it and I went to the bar for the refund. I was told that it would be easier to change the price if I would pick some other food I politely inform them that I'm not interested. For the refund you need to wait up to five working days. Read moreShambles!!! From start to finish!! Was taken to restaurant for fathers day with wife and children!! Went up to order food, no queuing system in place!! Ppl just walking up and bypassing ppl waiting to be served!! 1 person behind bar taking orders, when restaurant was absolutely mobbed!! Waited 25mins for order to be taken!! When I got served, I was ordering 2 kids meals from the menu I was given at front door, only to be told that what I ordered wasn't available at wkends or bank Holidays, so I had to order everything my children wanted separate, rather than a set meal!! I then asked a member of staff why the menu was given to us if the set meal wasnt available at wkends, only to be told by the shift manager, that i was mistaken, and i had misunderstood what i was told by the barstaff taking my order!! Her attitude was absolutely shocking!! And to tell me that im in the wrong when i was the one ordering my food i thought was an absolute disgrace!! I was told she will be straight back!! No show back to me!! Then when my children went to the drinks machine for there drinks, machine didn't work, no flavours were working, so was told to go get fresh glasses from the bar by a member of staff, to which I just stood at for 30 mins and the queue was even bigger at this point!! Eventually getting drinks, my Kids meals arrived as me and my wife had selected the carvery, so we attended the queue for the carvery, while in mid selection of our food, a member of staff, decided to pull away the dish we were selecting from, which could very easily have resulted in myself getting burned by the extremely hot plate that it was sitting on!!
