McDonald's — Restaurant in Scotland

1st of November 2020 at six o’clock at night, I decided after a long day at work to take my 2 children along to McDonalds in Leven, my children are diabetic and take insulin before meals my daughter is also celiac and unfortunately can’t eat gluten, I preceded to the drive through and we made our order. After collecting our food, we parked the car up, only to discover that unfortunately our order was wrong 😑 okay this can happen I suppose. So with the wrong order in hand I queued outside of the McDonalds restaurant for another 10 minutes in what I can best describe as a dark wet freezing cold miserable evening!! however, eventually!! when I did get inside I explained what had happened to the Manager of McDonalds in Leven. I was absolutely shocked disgraced and appalled by the Managers attitude, I left the food behind and drove off to McDonalds in Glenrothes near Asda, where the service and attitude is thousand times better. I feel sorry for the people in Leven that enjoy a McDonalds however the good news is the one in Glenrothes is absolutely fantastic 👍 can I suggest that the Manager of Glenrothes helps to train and support the Manager at McDonalds in Leven because I feel it was worth spending another £15 on meals to get the correct service and order that we requested and payed for in the first place and with my hard earned money .. thank you thou Glenrothes...

I've had a few visits to McDonald's in Leven and they muck up orders a lot. Including having to wait 20mins for 1 egg and sausage, hash brown and a latte,because of temperature checks, an app fault (twice) Causing a combo wait for over 45 mins.

The latest one, ordered breakfast for my family. Specifically asked for a sausage mcmuffin without cheese. When I got home low and behold it had cheese on it (my fault for not checking it there and then when I got it due to the previous incompetence from before).

I then went back to rectify it and greeted by a manager who said would sort it, then came back with bacon. When I said it was a sausage proceeded to argue with me (a common theme with the managers liking to make it out being your fault?). Then was rectified my partner then pointed out the "clever" wrapping of the product, with this system in place no wonder your own staff can't get it right.

Although this is a 5min walk from my home, I'll opt to go elsewhere to get any products from a McDonald's establishment (coffee will probably still be hotter if I went to Glenrothes and back) like I said I've always gone to Leven as its convenient close, but it's never convenient when you have to go back and rectify continous mistakes there.

Unfortunately for the Google system for reviews I can't give this any lower...

I'm so sick of this place, never ever get the order correct not once, it could be a forgotten tub of sauce, infact the tubs of bbq sauce i ask for is always forgotten, they forget to take sauce of burgers even when i constantly repeat "NO SAUCE" on the burgers, my wife never wants ice in her drink they never listen to that request either, ohh and the best one yet forgetting to put the top of the bun on top of a big mac, it seriously came without the top almost to ridiculous to believe it wasn't done on purpose, food is always cold even tho you wait 15 minutes on it? How can it be cold if I'm waiting that long shouldn't it be warm since you must be cooking it, either way very long waits, no other mcdonalds in fife keep you waiting like this mcdonalds and its not even the busiest mcdonalds, ice cold food as always, and I'm sick of ordering a LARGE fries only for the tub to be half empty! If i wanted a small fries I'd ask for one, staff is always sad and moody, never experienced a mcdonalds so terrible, will...
