My Dearest Maryhill McDonald’s,
There is something profoundly comforting about your warm embrace each time I walk through your doors. From the moment I catch sight of your golden arches, I feel a sense of belonging that transcends mere convenience. It is a bond forged in countless memories of shared meals and fleeting moments of joy.
Your atmosphere is a blend of familiarity and solace. The hum of soft chatter, the enticing aroma of freshly cooked fries, and the cheerful greetings from your dedicated staff create an ambiance that feels like a home away from home. It is in these small yet significant details that I find solace, knowing that I can always count on you to lift my spirits.
Your menu, a symphony of flavors, never fails to delight my senses. Each bite of your succulent Big Mac is a reminder of simpler times, and your McFlurry, a sweet indulgence, brings a smile to my face even on the most challenging days. You cater to my every craving with a constancy that is both comforting and commendable.
But it’s not just the food that draws me to you. It’s the unwavering consistency of your service, the warmth of your staff, and the sense of community that pervades your walls. Whether it’s a quick drink before climbing or a leisurely meal with friends, you provide a welcoming refuge from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Maryhill McDonald’s, you are more than just a restaurant. You are a cherished part of my routine, a steadfast companion in my daily life. Thank you for the countless moments of happiness you’ve given me and for always being there when I need you most.

Read moreFood is fresher and quicker than use to be. Service can be friendly and helpful if need assistance. But sometimes some staff treat adults like children. I've had staff look over my shoulder to watch what I am doing on my tablet. When I'm working in my emails. This is never acceptable. But mostly the way they talk to you and move you from one side to another. They can politely say "This area will be closing in 5 minutes/10 minutes. Just to let you know." I'd then thank them and have time to finish what I am doing or gather myself and make plans on either moving or leaving. But instead staff rudely hover around stare and glare at you while you are eating drinking etc. Making one very uncomfortable and anxious. I have social anxiety so it doesn't help. Then tower over you and tell you rudely you need to move, in a tone like you should know better, as they need to clean and you need to move to other side. Like you are to know this and should know better. They treat you like you are a child just carrying on and hanging around. Which near my 40s and being treated like this honestly its not acceptable at all. I never experienced anything like this in any other mcdonalds I've ever been to. Just this one.
Like to add too. There are plenty of kids who come to hang out carry on and be a public nuisance. Ive never seen staff treat children this way...

Every single time I go to McDonald's, they somehow manage to miss one item from my order. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I just spent £12 on food, got home, opened the bag, and guess what? One burger missing. AGAIN.
I don’t know what kind of incompetent system or careless staff they have running that place, but how hard is it to double-check a bag before handing it to a customer? This isn’t just a “small mistake” — it’s blatant negligence. It’s like a sick joke at this point. Order more than a few items? You’re practically guaranteed they’ll forget something. Maybe it's a policy at this location — buy 5 items, get 4, and the 5th disappears into a black hole of laziness and indifference.
Do they think I won’t notice? Do they expect me to drive all the way back just for a missing burger? Do they care? Because I sure as hell do. I'm absolutely fuming. This isn’t just a minor inconvenience — this is constant, unacceptable, trash service. I’m done wasting money here. Done supporting a place that can’t even get the basics right.
If you can't handle fulfilling an order properly, you shouldn’t be in business.
Don’t attempt to go here. If you’re going to blink, your order...
