Where do I start?… First of all, made a booking for a table. When I arrived, I had to wait outside 20/25 mins to wait for a table that I booked for. I had to go inside myself and ask a customer sitting at the table if they were ready to leave, so we could get their table. The two dolly birds working in there had no clue what they’re doing. One of them with long hair was very rude to my friend. Once we did sit down, we ordered our food. It came out in instalments and it came out freezing cold. I ordered 3 masala chips, they were all cold. Ordered two chana chaats, one was filled to the brim and the other one was less than half. Portions are tiny fit for a 5 year old child. We ordered butter chicken which was cold. The parathas were just the frozen shani parathas you get from Asda. Ordered two chicken wraps. One was okay however the other one wasn’t cooked at all. They use costco tender chicken strips for the wraps. Again, not cooked freshly. So I asked for another wrap, brought it home and opened it. I found an eyelash in it. We ordered pakoras and the potatoes in them where rock hard. We also got samosas which were dripping in oil! They don’t even give sauces with the food. Also anyone working with food should have hair nets on and not it swaying side to side. They should also be not wearing fake lashes as it can fall into the food. I honestly don’t recommend anyone going to that place. Such a waste of money. Not even worth your Instagram stories. It'll be an embarrassment for you. You’re better off going to Crema across the road, much better food and service. P.S. any reviews giving 5 stars without a comment, have previous reviews in Pakistan or say the same thing in each review, are from the restaurant owner. To stoop so low to make fake accounts to bring your business "5*"? We aren't stupid.

Recently re-visited after 7months and the service was appalling. Service is so slow. Shop is so under staffed. Food is thrown together like they use a tub of spice in everything and dish out. 3 people ordering and 1 thing came out, after 20mins my kids food arrived then 20mins later my wifes food. 15mins later a drink we ordered. Didn't get to eat together. Not the staffs fault as the manager should have the staffing levels right. Ask the staff for the manager, was told they were not available. 50mins later the manger turned up and amazingly more staff to a near empty shop and a mountain of complaints from all the customers that were in at the time as that's all I could hear round about me. Spoke to the manager who advised she is sorry and offered me more food. They could not offer a refund which i was told would come out the staffs wages. Which is hard to belive. Manager spoke to the owner. I explained about what had happened to be told its a franchise and they need to adhere to franchise standards. Which is understandable for the food, but what about the staffing issue. Was eventually given half a refund. After 40mins of trying to speak to someone and waiting about. The management and owner need to step up there game as this service is very very poor.

Love coming here I’ve probably been here about 6 or 7 times now, first time was for chaii & donuts to take away, which were fab! The next few times we visited was to sit in, it’s a lovely space very bright and clean, the girls are so nice and polite, The only thing I would say is the floor appears to be a bit slippy on a wet day as we recently noticed on our last visit, maybe something to watch. We’ve only had to wait a little excessively once but they were busy and that is understandable, we usually have the desi breakfast with parathas, we have also had the masala chips and our child has had the chicken tenders from the kids menu. We enjoy coming here and have no complaints, we’ll definitely be back. I’ve read a few of the other reviews and as much as everyone is entitled to their opinion they seem a little unfair, i too have also been to other similar establishments locally such as crema and doodh pati, both again good in there own right but as is mi chaii. Also the parathas my whole family enjoy them, are they frozen…maybe, but they’re good, so what!! How many places do you go where chips etc are frozen? If it’s a home cooked meal your looking for maybe you should go back to your mums! Anyway well done Mi Chaii !!

We have just returned after going for a work lunch to celebrate a birthday.

When we arrived we explained that we only had a limited time as we were on a work lunch break. The girl who served us assured that it would be 15 mins waiting which we were fine with. However food did arrive within 15 mins but was only for 2 out of the 7 meals ordered. We then received two portions of fries 15 mins later which we had ordered as sides. When we then asked about the other 5 orders we were told it would not be long. After yet again another 15 mins we received a chicken wrap and 1 of the cheese toasties ordered. Finally another toastie arrived 10 minutes later. the two people who had ordered noodles had to take the food away as it was now 1 hour and 10 minutes and they still hadn’t been served.

This was supposed to be a nice birthday lunch but turned out to be the worst service any of the 7 customers have ever experienced. Not only did we not get to enjoy a meal together but two of our party didn’t get to eat after waiting over an hour.

One of our party did speak to a manager who agreed to take £10 from the bill. However this doesn’t compensate at all for not only ruining my friends birthday lunch but also that two people are now having to take unpaid breaks to eat their lunch.

This is my first visit and will definitely...
