Oriana’s Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Scotland

We stopped by after visiting Linlithgow Palace with friends and my toddler. Not only was the food great and staff extremely helpful, but the place is an absolute hidden gem for families!!! They had child-safe cutlery, high chairs and age-appropriate food. The staff offered to serve the toddler’s food quickly to ensure she didn’t become restless - honestly, you have no idea what a difference it makes to the dining experience with a small child. We sat at the only empty table which still had to be cleared. A waitress cleared the dishes away but did not wipe the table. We placed our order 2 x coffees and a fruit scone only to be told there was only plain or cherry available. We opted for the plain. Said waitress obviously enjoyed her job as she sulked the full time. Our order was brought to the table just as another 2 customers sat opposite us, they ordered 1x fruit and 1x cherry scone and that’s exactly what they got. Totally unacceptable. So we won’t be back...

Really nice cafe on the High Street. Cheerful, clean friendly staff. We were there for a cuppa. Wide selection of home baking. We had latte and red velvet cake, tea and scone. Hot drinks came with little biscuit as standard and tea was loose leaf in a pot, fabulous!! Scone had two butter pats and mini jam. It was quiet when we visited but on previous visits it was very busy with lunches so not as much room. Didn't look at lunch or breakfast menus but food...
