The Lochside Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

Food tastes delish and the coffee is great. The portions are embarrassingly small. 1 slice of bread for French toast is a tiny portion for an adult, however when your child is asking you if they’re getting any more you know it’s really small portion. I believe 1 egg is split across several slices as it was extremely dry and needed the whole pot of syrup to swallow it. 2 small slices of bacon to compliment. The wraps are delish too, however the rest of the massive plate remains empty apart from the 4 crisps you get with it. Surely a salad and coleslaw wouldn’t cost a complete fortune to go alongside? What a fabulous cafe. Great food, friendly service and excellent prices. And Dog Friendly. We took the dog for a walk round the lake and stopped for lunch. Visiting Linlithgow for a day out and decided to try the Lochside on a whim. All 3 of us went for the BLT toasted sandwich and were in agreement that it was delicious.
