Place is usually spot on , but last night the two girls working the bar upstairs costumer service and attitude was shocking I'm not normally the type to complain but the situation they caused at the bar due to there bad attitude and there foul language was a joke this could have been resolved alot easier if it was done in a pleasant manner, I didnt realised I hadnt pay for my drink so I got called up to the bar again and payed but was confronted with verbal abuse and told I was trying to steal a drink , I was then trying to explain it was a genuine mistake , I have better thing to do than steal a £3 drink from a bar I'm in quite alot but the hostility and attitude of the two girls was very poor,, honestly don't know how you could talk to someone like that and put them in a position for making a...

Was at Owens yesterday for food and over 30’s day. Booked table and at time of booking told we would get 20% off food if we should tickets. When we went to pay bill we were told 20% off was for event on Friday night. Asked for mozzarella sticks with mains and brought out before. Loaded Parmesan fries had hardly any toppings was more like a plate of Fries. Garlic bread was hard and Cajun chicken pasta tasted of vinegar. Waiting 20 minutes for a round of drinks. The table we were sat at was awful could hardly hear due being sat behind coffee machine. There was supposed to be a marque out for over 30s day and there wasn’t. We came upon this pub by chance but so happy we did. Atmosphere and the whole look of the pub is top rate.. the staff all young but very good at what they are doing keep everything running like clockwork with happy smiling faces and made us feel we were long time customers it is a lovely pub to go to. Food excellent as well. Yes it's a worth a visit and we told them as we were leaving that we would be back so we are looking forward to doing just that even with the distance we have to travel ......
