💥 Abismal! It pains me to write this review - as it's one of the worst I've had to write in years. 🥲

Updated Based on owner response - downgraded to 1 star.

Just ate at this restaurant 45 minutes ago. What a disaster. And the sad part is that I was very much looking forward to a 'fine dining' experience 💔 Sadly this was not the case.

After sitting down and reading this manifesto - in laminated print on the table - (photo included)...I was sure that the food was going to be amazing. After 35 minutes wait we finally received our appetizer - the Haggis Pakora, which I will say was beautiful.

Then after an hour we received these disasterous dishes. 1st the Seafood Pasta - mussles were completely dry, shrimp was frozen (and yes, I absolutely know the difference), clumps of salt throughout - my sister refused to pay for it. It was that bad.

2nd the Beef Stroganoff - what a joke! For fine dining, a lump of bag greens, unwashed...and the beef itself - tough and unedible. My 69 year old mother has made better flavor, more tender, and more creative on her worst day! She couldn't even eat it, and it made me sad.

3rd - my 'Proud Kurdish Lamb' as he calls it. Where were the flavors, where was the tender lamb? It was tough, uninspired mutton (and yes, I know the difference between lamb and mutton). I didn't finish it either.

Male bathroom was as pictured - cobwebs, bugs - not fine dining standard....and I visited the handicap bathroom - I mean look at that embarrassing sink and paint job. You all should be absolutely ashamed.

Shout out to the male bartender & the young female waitresss who were killing themselves running around understaffed - and did the best they could, and we're completely sympathetic to the cause. Not their fault we didn't see them for 10 or 15 minutes. Again...not fine dining level - they shouldn't have had to. And nothing they did was their fault - it was the kitchen, plain and simple!

Maybe this passes for 'fine dining' in these parts - but it is far from it. And at a price tag of over £100 - ha! Complete joke. I'd be absolutely ashamed of my own work if I ever gave my clients this level of product. And no I won't 'have the opportunity to re-visit', however, I'd be open to a huge refund though...happy to provide...

Okay this is a bit of a mixed up Menu, no True Direction.. We went for lunch my Dad's 79th Birthday, am basing this only having three courses myself. So the starter `was Two Scallops, with what was ment to be a parsnip puree, it wasn't I could hold it on the end of. My fork, Garnished with seen better days Pea Shoots and Balsamic Dressing that was so little it wasn't worth being there, the scallops were nicely cooked.. My Main I went for a Kurdish Style in line with the owners Background, not many Kurdish choices but I went for the Lamb Fillet for a place that claims to be "Fine Dining" it just wasn't and isn't, Lamb more Blue than Rare but better under for me, the cous-cous was just bland even with the almond and raisins in it, the frozen in mini Nan was certainly a surprise ! The Salad Garnish was just poorly constructed/presenented the Sauce made up for the blandness to be fair. Sticky Toffee pudding to Finnish, mine was over heated, I could taste the burnt and it was crispy not sticky, as for presentation again just not what fine dining is and I would know.. I'd say its in the okay pub food category, sorry but with 35+ years in the industry I was disappointed at this "Fine...

Selected because of the reviews, we had high expectations and looked forward to excellent food. It was a special occasion for a birthday, so wanted somewhere a little different.

Struggling to see how the food was more than average, for both our mains. Pasta was slightly soft and over cooked (we did advise waiter who offered to replace but were half way through), duck over cooked and a tad tough. Our starters were both very good. Didn’t have dessert.

Service was inattentive and slow at first, with our wine not arriving until after our starters were served - around 20 minutes of being seated. Once starters were served, it was like Aldi check out and we were quickly served mains with very little time in between.

Atmosphere was nothing more than average, and our table was in middle of a walk way, under bright lights with little ambiance.

They had a very large table of 20 arrive just after us and a table of 10 just around same time we were seated- maybe the reason and an unusual experience. However, expect same price, expect same quality. We wouldn’t return or...
