I have booked a table for 27 ppl as a one party on arrival noticed we were split up between two table. I wasn't happy about that fact and asked to speak with a boss, he in rude way said it wasn't possible to do it and I won't find a place in k-dy where they will do it, I just ask if is any chance we can put a table in L sharp he straight away said no - but it was easy to do it. Then when came a ordering time one long table has been served and 4 ppl (my table) - has been left, when I have mentioned that to waiter - Italian older man ( not a boss) brougt 3 menus instide of 4 and asked and served 3 instide of 4 drinks but clearly there were seating 4 of us and guess who wasn't served lol me - punishment???, we all have been shocked. Then thanks god our waiter chance for - I think - Scottish young boy with a bit curly hair - he was so nice, polite with good maners boy - 10/10 stars for him. Food was good but deserts disaster noone absolutely noone has finish it. I wont recommend it for anyone better go to anothers Italian places in kirkcaldy, which at least has brilliant food and so...

Great ambience, great service, great food. We visited on a busy Saturday night, when they had a table of twenty to look after, plus all the other tables. We expected that service might be a bit slow as they would be stretched to the limit. They were also making up orders for collection. However, service was not compromised at all. I don't know how they managed, but everything happened smoothly, and freshly-made food arrived just on time. We had a view of the kitchen, too, which was a bonus. The ambience was perfect. You really feel you are in an authentic traditional Italian restaurant - low ceilings, dark woodwork and lots of loud conversation and laughter, while the waiters zoom around at speed. Food was great: scampi soup (tomato- based soup with little shrimps) and fat mozzarella sticks for starters. Pizza Napoletana and very generous serving of lasagne followed by a latte and a shot of grappa. Couple of large glasses of good house wine and a bottle of J20 made the bill up to £47. Excellent value. Right in the town centre, round the corner from the...

What a lovely wee gig i had at the pan e vinos ristorante in Kirkcaldy.. We started dining there a few weeks ago, and i approached the manager and asked if he considered putting entertainment on and he told me he would do it if i did it myself, soo of course i said, free wine, free meal, etc,, and after my debut gig there tonight, i picked up a nice wee residency at this venue. Just goes to show, never let an opportunity pass you. The volume was sooo low tho, it was like i was singing in my head, and my voice doesnt even know its been working afterwards..as i also sung loads of laid back songs from the 50's, connie francis. Dean martin, perry comos.. the chiffons, oh and some modern ones to boot .. so if you are free the first sunday of every month, come and join me at the Pane E Vino ristorante .. 3 Hunter Street, Kirkcaldy.. 5 o clock till 7.30...

Janey...

Got takeout and I swear it was just oven pizza... We bought 3 pizzas, calamari and tiramisu. The tiramisu was okay but the pizza and calamari was so bad we ended up chucking it. The calamari tasted as if it was microwaved (chewy and the batter was wet), it came sopping wet in an air sealed container. The pizzas all where wet on one side and were just bland thick pizzas... Really disappointed after being suggested this place before. Honestly, it feels like their oven was broke and they sent us 3 microwaved frozen pizzas from Lidl but that feels like an insult to Lidl... I've attached an image of the box to illustrate just what I mean by wet. And I don't mean greasy, that's one thing they somehow managed to not mess up, it wasn't greasy, but how in the name of God can 3 pizzas be wet?

We had another fantastic evening meal here, couldn't fault any of the dishes served to the table, the food was hot and delicious with all servings a good size, not too much, not too little. Even though it was busy, it still kept that lovely cosy atmosphere. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. It's a good idea to book ahead as it is usually very busy.

Absolutely outstanding Italian food, I had prawns then steak with peppercorn sauce followed by profiteroles and all was delicious, washed down by the outstanding Italian beer Peroni. Staff great and really friendly. So busy chatting and enjoying the good I forgot to take photos! Highly recommend 😍
