Let down today by the service. By the look and blatant staring that we got for being a mixed race couple by the two girls behind the desk. They couldnāt even hide there expression as both were not wearing a mask and then to top it off we got advised after driving over to collect our meal it was cash only. I arrived with Apple Pay like most people and my husband was told he could use the cash machine. Should the girl who took our order not have advised us of this before she rudely hung up the phone? The attitude of the girl who took our order and the eye rolling was appalling. She then proceeded to call me names from behind the desk and her ācolleague/friendā jokingly advised her to watch her language. Maybe donāt do customer service? The girl at the desk on the 4.12.22 at 6.30pm, needs to go. Regardless if she is a family member filling in a job her behaviour is disgusting. I am extremely concerned. How is no masks and cash only preventing the spread of covid? Including chef behind cooking with no mask on. So thatās a total of 3 staff members working, none with masks on including the customer facing girl. The amount of grubby fingerprints on the door that we had to touch as we came on was disgusting. I am really, really concerned about my visit today and recommend to others to thoroughly wash and gel hands after leaving this place. The only good thing, chicken tasted good. Phoned up at 21:24 to collect order arrived about 21:40, waited until 21:55 for my order while others that had called in while I was standing in the shop got their orders when they arrived. Wasnāt too bothered by this things happen and the guy was nice gave me a can for free. But got up the road and my partners chicken was pink inside ⦠undercooked. Luckily my partner checks before eating it and now I know why.
Returned to the shop after calling and letting them know I was coming back for a refund, Got to the shop and they didnāt even know how much the order was to refund i had to tell them how much I paid, they then short changed me giving me back my money and I had to ask for the rest. Honest mistake hopefully.
But itās Absolutely unacceptable, paying Ā£31.05 for dinner to have it undercooked. If youāre dealing with chicken make sure you know how to cook it, if you are unsure if itās cooked or not, slice the thickness bit open to check could save someoneās life...
