My husband and I seldom go out so when we do itâs a right treat. We dropped in just before 13.00 and ordered 2 cauliflower broccoli soups and found a table for two. The soup arrived, piping hot in good sized portions with a slice of brown bread and butter. Iâm on a keto diet so I gave my husband my bread to hid delight. The soup was delicious. Now I have cooked in the uk and abroad and am a bit fussy about my food so when I say it was delicious I mean really delicious. The lady who served us was helpful polite and had a beautiful smile. Altogether a great experience and the first time Iâve had anything in the cafe since it was Slottis so thatâs a while ago. Well done keep up...
Read moreWhat a wonderful place this is. A warm welcome as I arrived and I felt like I'd been coming here for years. The food is hearty and delicious, I was really impressed at being asked for my preference on how my bacon is cooked! I enjoyed breakfast so much so I returned for lunch, two visits on the same day! I tried the recommendation of coronation chicken with crispy bacon added and I was delighted, so tasty. This place is a little hidden round a corner so follow the signs and find it, you won't be disappointed - by far the best cafe in Lerwick and the team here are such a nice bunch, really is service...
Read moreFantastic little cafe. During our stay in Shetland we visited twice, once for breakfast, which was lovely and in the afternoon before leaving on the ferry.
The soup we had was amazing (probably the best I've ever had!) and the sassermaet roll was great too. Staff were helpful and friendly. Being last in just before closing time, we got a free slice of cake. It was also very clean. All in all a top notch cafe and what is more, it wasn't expensive either.
Highly...
