Post Office Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

Frequent customer to the Post Office Bar. Visited yesterday with some of my Friends. Staff extremely friendly the Manager Maranna was great she has a brilliant personality, always willing to talk and builds a great rapport with customers. Also had a nice hot meal cooked by Alex which was very nice at a reasonable price. This is Broughty Ferry's number one sports bar plenty of T.V screens to watch all sports. There is also a pool table and background music which is set at a reasonable noise level. All in all a fantastic place to visit with nice drinks and good food served by a great Team. Visited Post Office Bar and Restaurant for food with friends at the weekend. Definitely a tale of two halves. Diners who had the fish and chips and chicken burgers really enjoyed their food. Good portions and really fresh. However, those who had the steak pie were not so impressed (apparently it seemed microwaved), and the diner who had the curry said it was the worst he had had for a long time. It was extremely watery and almost tasteless

Phoned before we visited to ask if festive menu was available today, was told you have to pre order even though there was only two of us. Asked was normal menu available was told yes, when we arrived we tried to order sunday roast and was told Sunday roast was not available due to festive menu only being available I explained we had called an was not told sunday lunch was not available.
