Prego — Restaurant in Scotland

A very friendly local eatery. Good service and excellent Margaritas! Visited twice and I'd say the risotto is as good as I've had anywhere - the mushroom risotto was deeply flavoured. Had steak for my main both times (filet and ribeye): good quality meat, well seasoned and accurately cooked, served with well executed standard sides. The by the glass Montepulciano d'Abruzzo was really good at the price and went well with our steaks.

My only caveats are that the house (by the glass) Pinot Grigio isn't up to much, wet with little discernable flavour, and our Tiramisu was pleasant, well presented but a bit lacklustre (more booze needed here!)

Visited here for the first time last week, The place is very small and we were sat right next to the bar at the front door which wasent ideal with servers bottoms in ur face often as they collect drinks.
