Rainbow Chinese Takeaway — Restaurant in Scotland

We probably waited around 2 hours until we eventually received our food, from the time we ordered on Uber Eats, until when we received it. We also had no updates on Uber Eats to tell us when we would be receiving it and we actually had to request an update! During that time, we phoned twice to check up on when we would be receiving it and both of those occasions, we were told it was just about to leave and would be delivered soon. Also, the number given to call on Uber Eats was a personal phone number of someone who worked there and not the actual restaurant. Anytime we did call, it rang out or went to voicemail. The 2nd time we successfully called and managed to get through, we were told it was due to leave in 5 mins and then it wasn't too far from us in terms of distance. It was around 20 mins after that call that we finally received it. When we did, it wasn't overly hot and the carton with the salt and chilli chips was about half full. The food was nice, but not nice enough to be waiting that amount of time! Not happy at all, ridiculous amount of time to wait for an order that only consisted of a few things! For over £20 worth of food, we also expected prawn crackers. Not worth the money, the wait...

The salt and chilli chow mein was ok and thats about as much praise as i can give it. Not very salt and chilli though. The salt and chilli ribs were possibly the absolute worst ribs I've ever had from a chinese. Mostly horrible fat and they'd obviously been sitting in oil to keep them tender making them mushy and almost tasteless. Oily greasy fatty and bland and I honestly I wouldn't use this word unless truly deserved, but to sum it up, they were not short of disgusting. First and last...
