I have been many times and I can say the food is outstanding, I could rarely fault the food. Today I visited with a friend and the food was fantastic as always however the service let it down! It is a town restaurant so not overly busy during the week. Music in the background might be nice as it is quiet! Anyway we ordered our food and at the start the waiter was very attentive. This changed when they got a bigger table in! And I know people are thinking welll it was a big table, maybe 15 at most but the rest of the restaurant was empty and regardless we are a paying customer. When they arrived we were completely forgotten about, we actually had to go up to the bar to remind them we need to order pudding as they cleared our mains and never returned we sat for 15 minutes and had enough..

We made many attempts to get someone's attention, eventually my friend went to the bar to ask for our dessert and she was told to sit down, very rude! eventually a waiter came over and took our sweet choice. My ice cream was served 10 minutes plus later and my friend still didn't have her cheesecake we made several attempts to get the waiters attention they looked and ignored us! eventually one came over and said they were defrosting the cheesecake! It is not acceptable and very rude to serve a tables food separately, My friend burnt her mouth because the cheesecake was really hot from I assume the microwave! Great start poor ending! Food was excellent apart from the pudding and poor staff service, apart from the man that was behind till he was very good! All in all a bit...

Firstly the good points The young ladies working in the restaurant are polite and friendly and the establishment appears clean, pity the food isn't of the same standards Visited at 3pm Saturday for a takeaway and there were zero customers in the restaurant and only myself awaiting a takeaway , unfortunately I was to learn why Chicken jalfezi did have quite a lot of chicken in it but was very over spiced indeed, the onions within the sauce were green in colour and both them and the peppers were massively over cooked and mushy ,also half a dozen whole cloves of garlic within the sauce, unpleasant. The jalfezi was swimming in oil/ ghee (see photos of the kitchen roll used to soak up the grease, this had to be done again whilst reheating). The nann was the worst I've ever seen and had zero garlic butter on it , and believe me I've eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants, burnt cardboard springs to mind (see photos) I cannot believe a cook/chef produced this so called meal when he had 1 customer to cook for, god only knows what he may produce when busy . I've included a photo of my receipt as proof that this is NOT a malicious review. I did call the restaurant to complain but the manager was otherwise engaged,...

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indos Cuper Indian restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the excellent service. The menu was extensive and offered a wide range of traditional Indian dishes, making it difficult to choose just one! However, I ultimately decided on a classic chicken tikka masala and it was simply delicious. The spices were perfectly balanced and the chicken was cooked to tender perfection.

The service was outstanding, with the waitstaff being both attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They offered great suggestions and went above and beyond to make sure that my dining experience was exceptional.

Overall, I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming and friendly environment. I can't wait to go back and try more of their...

We had a fantastic family meal at Saffrons for a group of 14, and everything was spot on from start to finish. The food was delicious — highlights included the onion bhaji and chicken biryani, along with a wide selection of other classic dishes. The naan bread was huge — easily the size of two big plates! The restaurant has a lovely old-school Indian feel, complete with pre-warmed plates so your food stays hot throughout the meal. Service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and professional. We were celebrating a birthday and brought along a cake. The staff kindly kept it out the back, and when the time was right, they brought it out with a lit candle, sang Happy Birthday, and even helped serve it. A lovely personal touch that made the night even more special. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommended for a warm and memorable dining experience!

incredibly flavourful food that was super filling and just kept getting better! my friend and I shared a mix starter for two which really surprised us as generally you know what to expect with chicken pakora / samosas etc, however here they were probably the tastiest we’ve had! (Shoutout to the mysterious “starter sauce”). I definitely recommend the Special Biryani - delicious and filling and enough for lunch tomorrow. Server Afiya was a delight to chat to and brought a brilliant energy to our evening - thank you so much!💜
