I have regularly dined at My Kitchen as it is now, in my opinion, the best restaurant and takeaway, in Gourock, if you are looking for excellent food, great and pleasant service, comfort and a lovely ambience! The premises is over two levels, with the Kitchen, Bar and Main Restaurant. The second floor houses a Function Suite and unfortunately the Toilets, which make access difficult for disabled customers. Sushil, the owner , master chef, manager had applied for permission to create downstairs toilets, but this was denied as the property is a listed building. The decor is modern, sedate, comfortable and quiet enough to allow table conversation, with only light musack in the background. The menu is wide ranging, with many world ranging cuisines including, French, British, Spanish and Italian offerings some in delicious fusion with Asian & Indian influences, created by Sushil, so there are plenty of wonderful dishes to select from at reasonable prices across the board. If you have slight changes to dishes, or dietary requirements the chefs are happy to accommodate them, where possible. All staff are excellent, being courteous, pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient, quickly delivering meals and drinks discreetly without delay. All in all a delightful dining experience in the mid price range and I hope, though popular, that locals better support the restaurant to ensure it's longevity, as Sushil has been creative with A La Carte, Set menus, Lunch menus and even Buffets in attempts to increase custom, even changing opening hours to maximise income and profit. So if it's intimate dining, family get-togethers, special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries, works parties, or holiday events, My Kitchen can accommodate them all and make your day, or evening an enjoyable one! Advisable to book at weekends in particular. Check it out online to get more information and to see menus and booking can be made through the web, messenger or by phone! So give a try you will not be disappointed and if you are happy (or not) let the team know at the time and please take the time to post a review, as any feedback is appreciated, even...

Tulsi Indian Aroma is a popular Indian restaurant located in Gourock, a small town in the west of Scotland. The restaurant offers a range of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, biryanis, and vegetarian options. The restaurant is located in a beautiful spot, with stunning views of the nearby river and hills.

Upon arrival at Tulsi Indian Aroma, the first thing that struck me was the warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant is well-decorated, with traditional Indian artwork adorning the walls. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with dimmed lighting adding to the intimate atmosphere.

The menu at Tulsi Indian Aroma is extensive, with plenty of options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. I started with the mixed pakora, a popular Indian appetizer made with a variety of vegetables and spices. The pakora was delicious, with a crispy exterior and flavorful filling. For my main course, I opted for the lamb rogan josh, a classic Indian dish made with tender lamb in a rich and spicy tomato-based sauce. The dish was excellent, with the lamb cooked to perfection and the sauce bursting with flavor.

One of the standout dishes at Tulsi Indian Aroma is the chicken tikka masala. This dish is a British favorite, and Tulsi Indian Aroma's version is one of the best I've tasted. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the creamy tomato sauce was perfectly balanced with the spices.

The service at Tulsi Indian Aroma was excellent throughout my meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. The restaurant was busy, but the staff managed to keep up with the demand, and my food was served promptly.

In terms of pricing, Tulsi Indian Aroma is reasonably priced, with dishes ranging from around £7 to £15. The portions are generous, so you definitely get value for money.

Overall, I would highly recommend Tulsi Indian Aroma to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian food in Gourock. The restaurant's warm and friendly ambiance, combined with its excellent food and service, make it a must-visit for anyone who loves...

We were offered a hot beverage drinks list abd on the back was a Dessert menu while we frlt full we jist had to try a little dessert to share We tried the Baileys cheesecake OMGGGG the Presentation was Amazing Credit to the Chef Well Done it was served in an Exciting plate which looked liked local pottery Ultimatley served with sorbet strawberry meringue , a raspberry , strawberry, cherry and almost let Crumbled chocolate pieces Wow👏👌 The ambience well thought of set up with many a picture to chat over and You must v8sot the luxurious bathrooms on the 1st floor Love the Antique full length mirror that ever woman would Appreciate Thankyou for an Truly Amazing...

Came in with my family, thinking it was going to be just a standard Resturant, we were all amazed by the food and presentation. The staff were also fantastic. It's just a shame I don't live in Scotland as I would go back there regularly as the food was out of this world. Wanted to take the chef home with me. We had the 3 courses (£24.99) of a set menu, if two people have the 3 courses they receive a free bottle of wine, so two bottles of pino went down lovely. You can't fault the prices or food and staff. Absolutely amazing I can't rate this place enough!
