Smuggler's — Restaurant in Scotland

Zero stars A group of us went into smugglers and had a couple of drinks. I picked some music on the jukebox, and we were singing along. Within 5 seconds, the manager was over saying "this is not a karaoke bar." Then, she refused us service, and we were told it was time to leave. Now, I understand this approach if customers are rude, offensive, or drunk. However, none of us were. I was so taken aback. My suggestion for you going forward is to remove the jukebox to defer your customers from singing along to a song in the first place rather than charging them for playing the song. Also, maybe put up signs saying no singing as many customers have complained about similar treatment in the past. I will never be back and will pass on the...

In 2005, my sister, brother and I were stuck in the rain, having missed our flight. We stumbled into this pub and played pool with some locals our age (19-23ish). My sister kicked their butts at pool and we all became friends. They let us crash at theirs instead of sleep at the airport. They fed us and bought flats of white cider for us and made a huge breakfast in the morning. They even gave us cab fare. We exchanged info so we could return the favor when we got back to the states, but we lost all their info, so if this sounds familiar to anyone, please know we think of you and that night at Smugglers all the time. Awful pub . Was in on a Saturday afternoon for my aunts birthday celebration. Was 7 of us ages 31-61. After putting some money in the jukebox we were told to stop singing its not a karaoke bar. Then refused service at the bar and told to go elsewhere. The bar maid has an awful manner. There is other reviews about ‘vile barmaid and crabit barmaid “ so im assuming its the same person.
