Starbucks — Restaurant in Scotland

I went into this large chain of cafés on Friday 24the Feb 2023 at around 3pm & he asked me my name & i've never had that happen b4 SO i complied & said Jim & he said that he would shout me when the coffee was ready. I paid for my slice of 🍋 cake the regular Lattie £6.80 i think it was & sat down at a table & NIBBLED AWAY at my lemon cake. Eventually my name got shouted out & i went & WADDLED back with my mug of coffee. After taking a few sips of it i couldn't tell what I was drinking - no taste tasted just like hot milk. He - Zandra - gr8 pleasent guy came round clearing the tables & i told him, what i thought of his - [well Starbucks coffee] & also when i go into Costa's or cafe Nero i don't have to give out my name for a coffee & wait ages for it coming & because I told him the coffee was tasteless he said he would make a fresh one & put 3 shots in it, which he did & even brought it to my table & it had a lovely coffee taste from it 👍 ☕ & that got me thinking 🤔 further - what if I was deaf...

Local Starbucks, with a friendly staff, plenty of seating, could be loads more but it's a bit of a weird layout. Dog friendly which is brilliant, really makes a difference.

Lost a star because my coffee has been wrong on four different occasions, not wrong as in it hasn't got enough crema or the swirl is in the wrong direction - I got a cup of hot water, with milk added, 4 times now, twice I was half way home with and couldn't get it swapped- no idea why it keeps happening, but its a bit of a running joke now.

EDIT: NO Vegan options now, no alternatives and no interest from the member of staff that I asked.

The Beyond Meat Vegan breakfast roll thing is still ludicrously expensive, If you can find one (and I recommend you don't, unless chewy bread Vs hot chewy meat-like-stuff...

I am there a very often to buy coffee, last Sunday place wasn't too crowded, 3-4 staff members there joking looking at you like on enemy, whispering smth and laughing at customers, heard some not nice joke about lady in dress there. I was like okay not best ppl without basic professional behavior and manners, but things got even worse when i paid attention how the coffee is made, guy took cup for my coffee and he held the cup with one finger outside of the cup and put three dirty fingers in to my cup. Absolutely disgusting. How it is possible that staff not using basic gloves while making coffee, i saw second dude making the same and a few seconds before he held finger in his nose! Rude staff members, ZERO basic hygiene disgusting place, not going back...
