Taco Bell — Restaurant in Scotland

Just visited today, as have never been to a Taco Bell but heard lots of people recommend it. Maybe it was just me but when you get out the car it looks as if it is closed down as half of the building is an empty unit for sale but the main Taco Bell sign covers the whole building. Because we have never been, my wife and I ordered the big £14.99 meal deal which came ith two tacos, two specialities, two fries, two cinamon crisp bag things. But drinks were not included in that price. The sheels unfortunately were so fragile that after one bite it was pile of small broken crumbled pieces with the insides everywhere. The mince was very greasey and did not digest well. The volcano Buritto was decent enough as was th chips, hot cheese etc. If also had the crunchy sandwich thing but the contents were all on one side of it. The young man serving was very helpful, but the girl shouting the orders had such a quiet voice that i did not even realise my food was being called. Finally, I do not think with today being absolutely roasting outside that my wife and I would need to go back into my car to get my work hoodies, and jumpers out because of the freezing cold air blowing in the resteraunt. I've been to Taco Bell lots of times in the USA, and loved it every time. Now there is one in my local town 👍

Only reason it got 1 is because you can't score 0, ordered well in advance to collect at an exact time, we arrived to pick up our dinner 2 mins early, drove home to have dinner (5 mins drive) food was cold, order was wrong, 10 fries at most in a full bag of fries, family of 4 with 4 meals, all with fries!! Only 20 fries in total 🤣,now the Burritos 🌯 were not marked so it was a guess as to what one you get ( kids refused to give me mine after they tried it🤣) the taco's 🌮 were so greasy and pressed flat, all was squashed into a bag!! The staff looked uninterested when they were all bunched together at the cooking area, 4 people waiting to pick up food and No atmosphere. Food taster a mush. All in all not a good customer experience,

This place won't last unless they get their act together and get up to the minimum...

Went to try this for the first time. If I could give 0 stars I would. Total con. Charged more for 2 meals than it would have cost to buy separately, as when buying as a double you have to add on juice. Added on what we thought was a large Pepsi max. £3.49 for a 500ml Pepsi max. You are having a laugh. Asked staff to cancel order and we would repay for 2 individual meals which included juice and were the exact same as we ordered. Had to repeat this about 3 times, to no avail. Told them to cancel the order then and we'd go to KFC instead. Cheeky male staff members words, "It comes back to us anyway, same company". I think he was missing the point. The service was non existant. They would rather throw away food than resolve the issue. He asked the other staff if they wanted any of the food before he threw it out. Totally unprofessional. Won't be going...
