International students be careful!! Don't ever think about studying in this university. I'm suffering because of this university. All of my friends in other universities have their university's support and the university on their side when something comes up in life, except me, even my friends are so surprised as to how the admin staff and the rules they make within the university are so unfair!!! I regret every penny I paid here. Choose a university that will help you all the way until you graduate not just until you start paying!!! I wish I can disclose more about what they did to me but believe me I will not stay silent!!! I will do every effort for myself and to warn and show others so they can protect themselves. Everything will be clearer soon. If this university is reading this and wants to protect itself it should know the value of their international students and NOT JUST HOW TO ATTRACT THEM WITH LIES JUST TO MAKE THEM APPLY!!! BUT HOW TO HELP THEM INSTEAD OF BEING THE MONSTER AGAINST THEM IN LIFE. UNDERSTAND THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES!! DON'T ABANDON THEM WHEN THEIR DOCTOR SAY THEY ARE IN NEAR DEATH SITUATION!!! INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS PAY 5 TIMES AS MUCH AS A LOCAL STUDENT!! THEY ARE AWAY FROM THEIR FAMILIES!!!! LITTLE MERCY!!!!!! This univeristy has many fake reviews, if you want to spot them easily look at how many reviews they have, if it's 1 or 2 then it's fake, most of them don't even write anything just chooses 5 stars, be careful of...

(But it wasn’t the fault of disability services.)
As a rep I feel like I need to make people aware of the experiences of me and other students I know.
Some Disabled students Had to wait over a year to get a digital versions of books from Pearson/anspear. There was also a blind student who had zero support as Pearson now called anspear sucked and either failed to communicate or took ages to give disability services any support or the proper learning materials for the students and that really held students back by at least a year.
The worst bit was that most of the people who worked in the school office blatantly didn’t care about anything or anyone. They weren’t sympathetic to bereavement, injuries, illness or disabilities.
A student had a bereavement so I spoke to The head of the engineering and science office on their behalf to go through the proper channels. The head of the office told me that “electronic engineering and physics don’t communicate so go speak to the physics department or something “ and that just sums the school...
Read moreLucky Escape. My daughter considered Dundee for 2014 entry and we visited in Spring. Campus and accommodation OK and the English dept seemed good. First term of 2014 has seen the Union ban the Pro-Life society because it doesn't like them and, in November, a guy was barred from the Union for having body art. Both items were well reported in the media, the body art video went viral. The Union's response in both cases was that they were a private members club who could do what they liked.
I took up the Pro-Life society banning with the Principal, who deferred to the Union. Went back to the Uni and this time the Secretary to the University refused to take up the allegations of bullying and discrimination.
Overall, Dundee Uni looks good on the outside but there are real concerns about management, governance and who is really running it. If you are there, you obviously need to stay on the right side of a heavy handed Union. My daughter eventually chose Edinburgh where she's very happy and we feel she had a...
