The Coffee Bean @Café Pizzeria — Restaurant in Scotland

Awful service, absolutely terrible. No instructions on how you were to order when you arrived and were seated. The menu was at one end of the building and we were seated at the opposite end so it would have been nice to have been told that we had to order from the board before we say down. We ordered paninis but what came wasn't a type of panini I'd ever seen, it was an open baguette that had been slightly toasted. So not a panini... The waitress that brought out one of the dishes knocked over a full tin of juice over the table and over my father in law's lap, with the only apology being a grunted "sorry". The waitress then brought out (eventually) a balled up paper towel and dumped it on the table for us to mop it up ourselves! One bit clearly wasn't going to be enough and when we called on her to bring more the look we got from her was absolutely disgusting. Again we were left to clean up the considerable spill ourselves. They even had the cheek to charge the full price of the juice after half of it was spilled. I've never had service as bad as this in my life if I'm honest. If hadn't been driving for over 2hrs and were famoused we would have left, and to be honest we probably should have regardless at that point. Luckily the actual food was nice with no complaints with any of the dishes. Nice clean place but just a pity about the atrocious service we received on the day. We won't be back...

Very disappointed, called in and whilst waiting to order was told to take a seat and someone would come and take our order. Bearing in mind wasn't busy with only a couple of customers in, there were two staff behind the counter drinking pop and and chatting and laughing away there was another another girl serving making coffee etc, there was a guy stood near the counter with his arms folded, wearing the cafe logo T shirt and another girl stood next to him chatting away, waited 5 minutes for someone to come take our order then gave them another minute to give them the benefit of the doubt. Minute passed so got up and walked out. If that's how you run your business then no wonder it was virtually empty. No stars for food or drink because we didn't have anything. I really like to write a good review but we were quite disappointed with our breakfast because it was not good at all. For the price, it wasn't enough food on the plate and what it was, it wasn't fresh... The sausage, the bread, no baked beans and a big plate that make the breakfast small. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Halloween and the staff is very friendly and served the clients with a smile, they clear the tables quickly but need love and top up salt and pepper dispensers, swipe the entrance and keep an eye to small details. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for breakfast having other places near by much better in price, quality and quantity. The WiFi wasn't...
