Agnew park is a great place for a walk with kids or dogs, plenty for the kids to do and play on, and in the summer the council bring the train that people can ride round the park, they also have boats that people can rent to go round the centre part of the park, also near the middle is Driftwood cafe to grab a bite to eat which is a good feed, also nearby Dunn's shop does the best ice-cream in Stranraer to enjoy while venturing round the park. Read moreExcellent location and facilities. Good view of Loch Ryan so everyone can appreciate something here. Its a lovely point in the town for sitting for fish and chips or running off some steam. I imagine it would be better if we came in the peak season with the pedal boats. Even with a bit of rain, we could still appreciate the park area. The pirate ship in the middle of the boating lake was a lovely little addition and I imagine that the townsfolk enjoy the park for its dog...
