Went for a meal with my husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law on Saturday 11 November. We arrived just after 6pm and got a table and bought a round of drinks while we looked over the menu. We placed our food order at the bar (starters and mains) costing £57.75 about 6:30. Our starters arrived about 30 mins later. When we finished eating we stacked our plates and waited for our mains. We spoke the waitress about 8pm as our food still hadn’t arrived. She went to the kitchen and then to the till behind the bar and then back to the kitchen. She then came back and apologised and said our meals would be out shortly its because they were so busy. Meanwhile people who arrived after us had been served their meals and left again. We could see the kitchen from where we were sitting and could see three meals sitting on the serving hatch. After about 10 minutes we spoke to another waitress, she said she would go and see about it. She returned with the 3 meals that had been sitting there for over 10 minutes they were one short as what I had ordered hadn’t been made.We refused the meals. The waitress was very nice and said she would get a refund for our meals. She returned with a £20 note and some change but we said we were not happy with the service and asked to see the manager. Kevin the manager returned after about 10 minutes with a receipt of what we had ordered (my meal was not on it) and £28.54 and explained he had given us back the money for the meals minus the drinks and starters. He said the reason we hadn’t received our main course was because we asked for the starters to be delivered separately from the mains and the mains were put on hold and forgotten about. He was not very apologetic and walked away in the middle of us talking to him. He needs to go on a course about customer service as his customer management service was totally non existent. So we left angry, hungry and down in money for the price of my meal. There also was not enough staff on for the amount of customers they had in. We frequent Wetherspoons quite often and and the service we received in The Fair O’Blair was not of the standard of other Wetherspoons in fact it was the worst service I have ever experienced in any restaurant I have been in and I would recommend anyone thinking of going here to rethink and go somewhere else. Only gave it one star as it wouldn’t let me post it without any 😡

While on a coach trip up north, we stopped for an hour in lovely Blairgowrie, although it was far from lovely the day we were there. Persistent often torrential rain had us wandering Blairgowrie's beautiful, popular streets looking as much for shelter from the elements as for any touristy souvenirs as would have been the norm for any and all previous coach tours. Said shelter was found in the local Whetherspoons. Cosy and dry we were soon seated at a small table and high stool both with rather ornate cast iron legs. Something not noticed before in a Whetherspoons . The coffee was from a serve yourself machine although you'd be hard pressed to know it wasn't freshly made. I'm not going to say the rain had eased off because it hadn't but we left there warmer and dryer aand happier with our day than when we had first entered.

The Fair O'Blair used to be Woolworths in the Main Street, Blairgowrie. Transmogrified by Wetherspoons, it is quite the most charming and well decorated pub with food and drink at great prices and with an atmosphere well worth experiencing for yourselves. I chose their all day breakfast and the lady I accompanied had a great looking fish supper. We were thrilled with both the friendly service and wonderfully prepared food ... But the real thrill was the great value for 💰 money here ... For heaven's sake, you could have had a proper steak meal for just a bit over a tenner. And a good selection of wines and beers to boot. This one was tidy, but pretty busy on the last day of October ... I left replete and amazed that it was just not fully packed out.

Really appalled by the customer service from a shift leader this morning. Went here to meet family who had arrived before me, as they arrived before me they ordered food and coffee for me coming. Came in, got my coffee cup and went to use the machine when I was then approached by a very rude shift leader who said that I had to pay for the coffee. I told him that it was already bought by my mum and he told me that she bought it for herself and that I had to buy my own cup. I told him that she bought another one for me coming and after checking the receipt on the till, he accepted that I was right but offered no apology.

I have never stolen anything in my life, and if I was going to steal something, it certainly would not be a 99p spoons coffee! Perhaps he should have checked the receipt before approaching me with an absolutely awful attitude. It would not have been so bad if he had just asked if I had paid for the coffee, but to just demand that I pay for the coffee and imply that I was trying to steal it is just ridiculous. Hours after this experience and I am still furious.

Even if the coffee wasn't bought for me, I could have been going to the machine to get a coffee for my mum! He needs retrained in customer service asap.

I have a similar customer facing job and I would NEVER approach or speak to a customer the way...

Great Place! Met up with family here and had a good lunch. We got on and there was nine of us so we reserved a big table which only had one menu to share so maybe next Time have more menus for bigger tables. We had to order food from the Wetherspoons app and that took a while because we had slow internet. It took at least 20-25 minutes for our food to arrive ( would have been quicker if we had less people) 10mins for our drinks. The homemade fizzy orange Juice was not so good as it was not really fizzy at all and at the bottom was where all the fizzyness was because i thought i had Just ordered the wrong thing. Food arrived and i had a 11 inch pepperoni pizza with Extra pepperoni (i think they were trying to rip us Off as there was hardly any pepperoni on minę) pizza was decent enough but had nicer before. My dad ordered a big Empire State Burger and it was nice he Said but could have had nicer. I had dessert and had warm cookie dough drizzled with salted caramel and ice cream. The cookie dough was nice but very sugary as i think for one of the First times i felt not so Keen on dessert. Dessert was again Quite slow but freshly made.

Service: Slow Food: Alright Overall :...
