Menu specials read "bbq pulled pork with smokey cheese. And salad with so.e nice bread ( they didn't have the bread)so I asked for some chips .also with my order I asked for some of thier coleslaw..I got a handful of chips some warm pulled pork with a thin slice of cheese on top ..disgraceful no salad no coleslaw. But on the way in there was a yummy looking cake only one piece left and I had asked if I could have it.rather than give it to me he put it in the kitchen ? I didn't take me long to eat my pickings of food so I went to get my cake .as I did a girl gave it to another lady and offered me a different cake .I'd looked forward to visiting you after being told by friends how nice it was ..Well not for me the women who made the food wasn't interested in me saying about salad .I was dismissed and the girl just said I will sort the cake .( clearly she didn't as someone else ate it)I was so upset I left in tears .I was treated awful .my friend I arrived with had full breakfast and bowl of chips .customer service was not even worth a star .however my friends paid for my lunch .( and was charged) no appology was given to me (nothing) never again I much prefer the bridge at least they have manners .I'm sorry I ever gave this...

Just wanted to add our voices to the chorus of - WONDERFUL - about this place! Our ferry home from Tarbert was 7 hours delayed so we had a LOT of time to kill and the weather was miserable. We decided to venture up to Stornoway as we thought there might be more dog friendly indoor options, but in October, we were wrong! This was the only place we could find that was open at the time of year and I'm so glad because they were just SO so welcoming of us and our dog, we sat in the little doggy area downstairs in the bike shop and spent a lovely couple of hours, eating delicious food, and libby even got a sausage! She was made a real fuss of by the staff and honestly we just couldn't thank you enough for letting us hang around on what would have otherwise been a really miserable and stressful day for us. The grassy park area just outside was also a great place to throw a ball for her for a while that was reasonably sheltered by surrounding...

Called in the Hub Cafe on the way to catching our ferry back home.

The entrance was through a bike shop underneath & then up some stairs to the lovely little cafe.

I ordered a hot bun with various items on & my hubby got 6 items for a breakfast. You can mix & match anything.

We had a mug & a bone china cup for our pots of tea, all served by friendly waitresses. It’s probably one of the nicest breakfasts we’ve had in ages. Cooked from scratch, hot & tasty, what more could you ask for.

We got there in good time as it was full up within half an hour. There’s a loo in the cafe which also has a baby-change area too. Duct tape provided 🤭

There was ample parking outside and the cafe is about a couple of minutes drive from the ferry terminal.

All in all a tip top place which we would definitely...

Eat your dessert first, life is uncertain. That's one of my mottos, and i can tell you, the carrot gluten-free cake is to die for ! The place upstairs is pretty small, but if you wait a few minutes, then you can find space. They have so many options for gf and lactose-free cakes. Truly a heaven. I am highly recommending ,and downstairs is seating if upstairs it's super busy. There is a free car park outside of the building ☺️

Went in for breakfast, it was late morning but no problem for the very friendly staff. A great selection of breakfast/brunch options. We had one breakfast roll, a scrambled egg and two large hubburritos, which were all delicious!! We all agreed it was one of the best cafes we've been to on Lewis. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the island. Make sure you ask for the duct tape if you come in with a baby. 🤣
