After a busy day we were recommended the tavern by a cafe owner saying “the food was delicious “ so we thought we’d give it a try. After ordering 2 chicken kebabs we were told that there were no pitta breads and it would have to be served with garlic bread instead. After waiting 15 mins the server came and asked if our buzzer had went off to come get our food (it hadn’t) so I went through to get the food. We had ordered our drinks and in the middle of being served the manager obviously did not like the way we looked so asked the bar man to ID us. Who goes a walk and takes their purse in this day and age? Bit embarrassing pulling a think 25 when both of us are just off of the age of thirty. Bar man even apologised as he clearly knew we were well of age. Will not be back! Currently having a great time in the Pier, would choose taht over this...
