West Coast Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Scotland

Went here as there was a good gluten free menu. At the time of us dining in there was only 1 other table of 3 in the restaurant and it was a weekday evening. I ordered mac and cheese gluten free, when the girl put the order into the kitchen she came back out and said they had run out of gluten free pasta, fair enough these things happen. Ordered a side of sweet potato fries with my main and seasoned fries for my partner. 45 minutes of waiting (in a pretty much empty restaurant) the girl came back out to inform me that my order of sweet potato fries had just been sent with a online food order so would notmal fries be OK. So now the second time I couldn't get what I'd chosen and this time because after 45 minutes waiting they had prioritised an online order over mine. My partners fries came with no seasoning (which cost extra) we where still billed for the sweet potato fries (which cost more) and the seasoning we never got. Wouldn't be back, only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is because the chicken starters...

I’ll start this off by saying, i appreciate it was a Saturday night and delivery times are expected to be a bit slower due to peak times. However, i ordered my meal at 1820hrs and was given an arrival time of between 1915 and 1935. There didn’t appear to be any update via the app and there was no sign of the driver, I waited until 1945hrs and requested one via the app, which I was told the updated delivery time would be 1955hrs. There was still no sign at 2010hrs so contacted restaurant, who were apologetic and told me the driver had just left - it’s a ten minute drive to my house from the restaurant… at 2040hrs, my food finally arrived cold! I don’t doubt the food would have been nice had it not taken a tour of the country prior to arrived but as far as I’m concerned this isn’t an acceptable time to wait without clear communication. Severely disappointed and most likely will go...

So went to West Coast Bar & Grill today for my daughters 13th birthday she is coeliac and was absolutely over the moon with the full gf menu ! There's only 3 thing on the whole menu that aren't gf and they're starters the big oven is all for gf products and the have a separate small oven to do the 3 non gf starters in so no risk or cross contamination , we were a table of 11 so loads of orders 🤣 the staff i honestly cannot thank enough they were all so lovely even put up some birthday banners for her and topped and brought out her cake too ❤️ the food was absolutely amazing everyone enjoyed everything and scoffed the lot and the birthday girl was buzzing, so just a big thank you to you guys at westcoast! 👏🏽❤️ we will 💯 be back again , highly...
