Homely feel to it with great service! Food was 10/10 for me Starter - chilli cheese bites Main - chilli beef with chips. The Curry sauce over it is a good extra touch perfect spice for me! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE MAIN for chilli lovers! Honestly can’t fault any of these dishes the main just hit the spice spot for taste! The portions sizes are excellent! Value for money is there also! The inside shop at the back was also top notch we picked up some flavoured jam & some dog stuff for our Labradors 100% will be returning!

This is the first time I've been in WG13 I Had a lovely egg mayo salad bowl, followed by delicious strawberry tart I thought both menus breakfast and lunch had a very good selection available. The staff were very friendly and I will definitely be returning

UPDATE I've decided to update my review, given the recent increase in prices.

WG13 is essentially a training place for students from the nearby Ayrshire College but the recent inflated prices now no longer offer value for money, there is a vast many other restaurants/"eateries" locally serving better quality at competitive/fairer prices. Sorry WG13, but i strive to give completely honest & unbiased reviews.

ORIGINAL REVIEW I've driven past this wee restaurant for ages & never knew it even existed. My wife, teenage daughter & I had popped our for a wee unexpected lunch & my wife had suggested this place, WG13, having been there on a few occasions with work, apparently & I have to say it was brilliant all round service. Excellent value for money, staff were, dilligent, friendly & very efficient at serving. The restaurant is spotless, nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was really nice with generous sized portions. If your in Kilmarnock & looking for somewhere for an economical, tasty lunch I highly recommend WG13 (13 West George st, top of John Finnie street & turn right, where Goodfellows estate agents used to be) parking should be available in the nearby car parks (Clydesdale bank). My wife and I were in Kilmarnock for two days to look at some houses in the surrounding area and found WG13. Lovely place staffed by lovely people. We had lunch, vegetable curry which was delicious, compliments to the chef. We were so impressed we went there the second day for lunch and had vegetable curry again!! Again it was delicious. Asked a member of staff for a tooth pick of he went and between the two members of staff came up with an ingenious method of supplying toothpicks made out of a skewer. brilliant! Thanks to all. We hope the very friendly young lady sitting in the lobby...
