Croziers of Birkdale — Restaurant in Sefton

Croziers is of my favorite places in Southport. Small, friendly with absolutely wonderful food. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious as is my favorite menu item — the Posh Porker. But just as good are their cakes — superb especially the lemon drizzle and carrot cake.

But it doesn’t stop there.

Yesterday Croziers provided the tea sandwiches, sausage rolls and cake for a party I was having to celebrate moving into my new house. Not only did they arrive right on time but what they brought couldn’t have been better. My thirty or forty guests raved about the food and didn’t want to go into the garden because it meant leaving the catering table. And believe me, they were some fussy guests — including event producers and wedding planners — who don’t give compliments about food lightly. Even so, they loved everything and, in particular, the sausage rolls which Croziers brought on a three tiered wire stand. Fantastic!!

Atmosphere here is fantastic, well lit yet still cozy, lovely music Sarah McLaughlin album playing, the service was world class, two staff served us, one gentleman Ethan who was fantastic, also a lady who I wrongly assumed was the owner as she seemed to be running front of house and was so pleasant and helpful, the food is absolutely world class as are the drinks, we had 2 ultimate hot chocolates that had been made to perfection, the sausage bacon and egg on sour dough bread was made to perfection, the poached egg was perfect, no signs of oils just pure tasty world class food, I was most surprised at how well priced everything was, I assumed the prices would have been somewhat more expensive, I wouldn’t really call Critzers a Cafe more in between Cafe...

Went here recently to try some of their food. I ordered the Cesar salad club sandwich latte and two of their cakes Everything I ordered was beautifully made I had mine to take away and thought the portion sizes were great lovely and generous whoever makes them knows how to feed people with good quality food the chicken in the sandwich and salad was proper roast chicken no horrible cheap stuff and the cake was amazing and great price all were full of flavour.
