Golden Harvest — Restaurant in Sefton

This chinese restaurant is so underrated.. Just close to Bootle Strand. The menu is varied, with early bird specials before 1830 £14.99, £19.99. The food is amazing, tastes fantastic. The decor is typical of a proper Chinese restaurant, very clean, very inviting.. The staff were very polite, they never rushed us at all

Then there was the food,, we ordered Chicken sweetcorn soup.. Brillant. Sweet n sour Chicken, outstanding. Beef mushroom, just lovely taste.. The quality of the food is just of restaurants you pay much much more money for..

They do a takeaway service too which is very popular and why not.

Get down to the Golden Harvest and taste it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.. We can't recommend this...

First time visit last night on back of highly recommended by my mate. It wasn't bad not sure what the fuss is about if I'm honest. Got off to a bad start ordered two lager shandy's. Basically lemonade with a dash of lager, isn't a shandy, even when I told the waiter after it he disagreed, 2.40 or 2.80 for half a lemonade isn't what I paid for. Starter was decent although the ribs were clearly microwaved from frozen. Main was best part but salty

Atmosphere was ok, family quiet and service was decent. Disappointed tbh I expect so much better after my mates recommendation.

Just had a meal here with my 3 year old, the staff were brilliant with her. So kind and attentive and playful with her. She's usually a very fussy eater but she ate her whole meal which is very rare! We had battered prawns to start and duck in plum sauce with soft noodles for an entrée and she loved it....
