Booked a table with a large group of friends for a birthday meal. We had eaten here before as a large group with no issues. However feel the service this time was really odd. When coming to pay for the bill (over £200) we were told "dont tell me your all going to pay separately" like it was a huge inconvenience! Then told that she couldnt do it as separate payments and that one person just had to pay for the whole bill! She said she also wouldnt accept some cash and some card it just had to all be paid by one person. Bear in mind we have been here before and always paid separately without an issue as in any other restaurant you'd visit! I have worked in hospitality myself and know you can split a bill, the server just gave us the impression she couldnt be bothered having to do the work and wanted us to just pay and leave. Lucky one of us had enough on us to foot the whole bill. Also asked what the "tourte" was as we had never heard of it, to get the response "well its just a dessert" which came across very snappy. However on arrival it took a while for the bar staff to acknowledge us, and when they did rather than a "hello & welcome" we were told that they had forgotten to book our table. After over 15 minutes of waiting without success to be asked what we wanted to drink, we left as felt that the service was poor and we didn't feel like our custom was wanted or that they had time to serve us. Its a shame as not everyone has this experience and it wouldn't have taken much to be attentive to us, but its unlikely we will...

There was a gentleman unaffiliated with my group who appeared to be in bad nick in the toilet, meaning I was unable to relieve myself in the male toilets, I tried going in the disabled/ladies cubicle and explained the situation but was told I could not go in, as I was not female.
Then upon leaving the bar I still thanked the bar lady on the way out and she sarcastically retorted “thank you for cleaning up your friends mess”, when I didn’t even know the man who was having some turmoil.
Really rude customer service so I won’t be going back or recommending...
