After a LONG walk on Crosby Beach, we were looking for a bite to eat. We Googled chippy's and found one on this street. It was empty, and as we all know, you don't buy food at an empty chippy. So, we came here. I'm glad we did. We both ordered a hot beef + onion baguette with a side salad and beefy gravy. Bloody, lovely. We each got two small baguettes that were fully loaded with beef strips and fried onions, a side salad, coleslaw, and a full gravy boat. We also had a tea 🍵 and a coffee ☕️ and the whole thing came to £17. Pretty good value. There were lots of other people eating so the place was busy, which is always a good sign. And the trade they were doing with takeaway Sunday roasts was mental!! There was a constant stream of people coming in to collect a takeaway Sunday dinner 🍽. I've NEVER seen that before but I was happy to see it. What a great idea 💡 All in all, if you're hungry and want some decent, reasonably priced food, then you could do much worse than come here. Absolutely love Temptations After visiting with friends several months ago I have resigned from ever cooking a Sunday roast. I order on a Friday for what I want Sunday The food is excellent especially the turkey which we have none of that plastic rubbish it's the real deal It's cut thick and you get plenty of it. Staff are all very friendly And although I've never seen him the Chef is my Best Friend as he allows me to relax and enjoy my weekend. Can't recommend Temptations...

Just been to this lovely cafe. I had a turkey and cranberry sandwich with salad. It was delicious had plentiful filling of turkey stuffing and cranberry ,amazing value. We also had their medium breakfast which again was scrummy, good quality bacon etc and lovely ulster fry. Staff were really nice checking everything was OK.
