The Crusty Cob — Restaurant in Sefton

Appalling horrible staff would not visit again even though I would be given something for free. Came in with my baby daughter (so I had the pram with me). The staff is chatting among themselves paying no attention to me. So I decide to wait until they have finished chatting among themselves whilst feeding my baby a pouch of fruit. After a while some member of staff does say something which to I reply oh finally you notice me to which I am replied that I was noticed (Funny place where noticing people means ignoring them...). Anyway I am asked if I want anything and I did say I was going to have a think and maybe getting soup. One after the other customer before me gets served and I am later asked if I want to order something in a a hasty impatient manner and when I say that people just keep getting served before me I am basically thrown out and barred to enter again. What a lucky escape to not ever have to give this horrible cafe any more money. Some customer even expected me to open the door for her but I am not going to leave my baby unattended at any point, to which I am looked upon with cold eyes by staff. Horrible establishement that needs to go out of business. A one star rating is too much . Google should bring in a minus system.

Just realized I have been victim of a kind of harassment. Had it been a woman with a pram and some random man with too many bags demands that mother to open the door to him.. seriously.. and then two male staff would look at her with utter disgust while helping the man with the door. Sounds wrong right? Because...

I stopped here with my son just to pick up some breakfast. We sat inside, my 12 year old had a Sausage and Bacon toasted sandwich and I had the large breakfast. When we were ordering I spotted the sausage rolls and had to buy 4. We were served very quick by a nice lady and the chef. Even though the place wasn't busy they were rushed off their feet with phone orders. There was plenty on the large breakfast for a fat lad like me and my son ate all his. All in all we were glad we stopped here and will go back. Had the sausage rolls later, I got one for each of us....but after eating one, I had to have another 2....

Ordered two Roast Dinners, one hot and one cold, last Sunday 15/10 for 14:30 delivery. They arrived right on 14:30 as requested. The hot Dinner was piping hot. Both dinners had loads of meat, Beef, Chicken & Gammon, sliced just right. Crispy Roast Potatoes, Mash Potatoes, Cabbage, Carrot & Turnip, Peas, Yorkshire Pudding & Gravy. Served in deep microwavable dishes and the Yorkshire Puddings wrapped separately. Get Stuffing & Pigs in Blankets on them too and who needs to make a Christmas Dinner!!! Very tasty and would highly recommend and buy again. Winner, winner,...
