The Valentine — Restaurant in Sefton

I have never left a bad review ... ever .... however I feel like I've been literally robbed!! Ordered off just eat through 'dough masters ' advertising authentic pizzas made with sour dough bread .. looked great!! ( italian vibe ) 2hrs later delivered 3 pizzas each filled a quarter of the boxes they were in ... looked like tesco kids pizzas !! I'm not exagerating ! 2 portions of chips ( dry and cold ) £52 ... no number to contact dough master I literally had to track down the address and found its the valentines pub !!! Tried to phone them ... off the hook !! I would never have ordered if I'd known it was a pub ... livid ... I have complained through just eat and I will be going in to see the manager . Totally unacceptable to front as something u clearly...

Just had one of the worst breakfast experiences here. Staff were polite but the food was a car crash, the eggs were snotty on the top and yolks were almost solid all the way through, the Sausages felt like they had been part cooked in the oven then finished in a frying pan and tasted overly herby, didn't bother chopping the Mushrooms either they just raw dogged them into the pan whole, the bacon was brown and over cooked, the hash browns were overly greasy and undercooked, and there was only about a spoonfull of beans on my plate. Turned up to enjoy the festivities of the jubilee (friday) kids entertainer was great, shame the magician and face painting never happened but kids still had a good time. Food was great as usual even though it was busy food arrived before estimate etc. Bar staff were great, polite and very friendly. The Valentine has certainly come a long way over the years with high standards throughout. (Decided to edit and swap to 5 stars after being informed of how ann and her team tried to find a replacement, would be unfair to give only 4 stars based on someone outside of the pub letting...
